1st DAY ISTANBUL – SKOPJE – TETOVO – OHRID Meeting with you, our valued guests, at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. We depart for Skopje on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Skopje, we set off with our private coach waiting for us to travel to Ohrid. On the way, we stop in Tetovo (Kalkandelen) to visit the unique Painted Mosque, distinguished by its exquisite decorations. After this visit, we continue our journey to Ohrid. Upon arrival in Ohrid, we begin our city tour. During the tour, we see important sites such as St. Sophia Church, the ancient theater, Ohrid Old Bazaar, and Chinar Square. At the end of the tour, after some free time, we transfer to our hotel and check in. 2nd DAY OHRID (SV. NAUM – RESEN – BITOLA) After breakfast at our hotel, the day is free. Those who wish may join the full-day extra tour of Resen – Bitola – Sv. Naum. Resen – Bitola – Sv. Naum Tour (Per Person: 75 Euro) On this tour, we first head to Sv. Naum Monastery, located at a nature paradise surrounded by magnificent views. At the monastery, situated on the banks of the Black Drim River, which feeds Lake Ohrid, we have the opportunity to take impressive photos. After a short free time here, we continue toward the city of Bitola (Manastır). On the way, we make a short stop in Resen and photograph the historic palace, one of the symbols of the region, from its garden. After our break, we continue to Bitola. Following a short walking tour on Shirok Sokak, we visit Bitola Military High School, one of the most important stops of our excursion and the school from which Atatürk graduated. This building, now used as a museum, includes a classroom arranged as an Atatürk memorial room. After this visit, we depart for Ohrid. In the evening, those who wish may join our extra program, Macedonian Night, organized by our guide. Macedonian Night (Per Person: 70 Euro) After tasting the flavors of Macedonian cuisine and listening to Macedonian music, we transfer back to our hotel. 3rd DAY OHRID – MATKA – SKOPJE After wake-up call, checking out of the rooms, and breakfast, we depart for Skopje. On the way, we stop at Matka Canyon. Matka Canyon, with its breathtaking views and natural beauty, is located at the confluence of the Treska River and the Vardar River. There are 10 caves in Matka Canyon, each with different depths. After a walk accompanied by nature views, we continue our journey to Skopje. Upon arrival in Skopje, we begin our city tour. In Skopje, the birthplace of our famous poet Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, the places we will see include the banks of the Vardar River and the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods on the opposite side of the river. On this walk, we will see Macedonia Square, the Stone Bridge, and Davut Pasha Bath from the outside. Kurşunlu Han, located in the Old Turkish Bazaar, and dating back to 1550, is now used as the Academy of Fine Arts. During the Ottoman period, 17 inns were built in Skopje, and today only 3 remain. Sulu Han and Kapan Han, built in the second half of the 15th century, and the Double Bath. Our tour also includes one of Skopje’s emblematic monuments, the clock tower built in the 16th century, as well as Sultan Murat Mosque, one of our early mosques from the 14th century, and Isa Bey Mosque from the same century. At the end of the tour, after free time, transfer to our hotel and check in. 4th DAY SKOPJE – ISTANBUL After wake-up call, checking out of the rooms, and breakfast, the rest of the day is free until transfer time. Meet at the specified time and transfer to Skopje Airport. After check-in procedures, depart for Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of the tour.
