Day 1: İzmir – Stuttgart – Strasbourg
Arrive at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport at the international departure terminal in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart on SunExpress flight XQ 962 at 04:10 to Stuttgart. Arrive in Stuttgart at 06:15 local time, then transfer to our vehicle to depart for Strasbourg. While exploring Strasbourg, one of France’s most beautiful cities and the gem of the Alsace region, you will feel like traveling through history in Europe’s largest medieval cobblestone neighborhoods. With its fairy-tale-like nature, historic structures, wooden houses, medieval churches and cathedrals, and numerous art pieces, it is a highly worth seeing place. Additionally, Strasbourg has historical significance as the place where France’s national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written. The city is a blend of Alsace culture and French architecture. During the city tour, visits will include Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the picturesque Petit France district decorated with traditional Alsace houses. After the tour, those wishing can join an optional extra tour called the “Magnificent Alsace Fairy Tale Villages” (Eguisheim, Colmar, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr) for 100 Euros. Our first stop on this tour is Eguisheim, which was awarded “Favorite French Village” in 2013. This village is a dance of history and nature, with colorful houses reflecting classic Alsace architecture. Next, we head to Colmar, a well-preserved medieval city featuring the Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Little Venice area reminiscent of Venice with its small canals, Maison Pfister, and the Renaissance-style Maison des Têtes. The third stop is Kaysersberg, a medieval town with colorful houses, narrow streets, and the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle as its prominent landmark, along with the Gothic Sainte-Croix Church. Our last stop is Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting cities, adorned with colorful flower-filled houses, narrow streets, and medieval walls. We will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old city walls to experience the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg or nearby. Overnight stay in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.
Day 2: Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time is provided. Those wishing can join an optional extra tour called the “Magnificent Germany Pair” (Baden Baden & Heidelberg) for 85 Euros. First, we visit Baden Baden, a natural oxygen-rich resort with health spa centers, cultural venues, thermal springs, and Europe's most famous casino. After exploring Baden Baden, we continue to Heidelberg, another magnificent German city. Its streets, squares, and buildings reflect the Middle Ages, taking you on a journey through history. Heidelberg is a tranquil, elegant city that will welcome you with architectural harmony and vibrant colors. The city tour will include Hauptstrasse street, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. Afterward, transfer back to our hotel in Strasbourg or nearby.
Day 3: Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg
After breakfast, free time is provided. Optional participants can join the “Magnificent Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities” tour (Rhine Falls, Zurich, Lucerne) for 110 Euros. Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall with a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. The powerful waters of the Rhine River cascade here, creating a serene and impressive landscape. After witnessing this natural spectacle, we proceed to Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, known for its historical center, Gothic churches, and historic buildings. Visits include Grossmünster, Fraumünster Churches, and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, then we explore Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world's most prominent shopping streets. Next, we visit Lucerne, a city nestled at the foot of the Alps in central Switzerland. Key sights include the Lion Monument, built in honor of Swiss soldiers who defended King Louis XVI, Chapel Bridge, and Lake Lucerne with its breathtaking views. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg or nearby.
Day 4: Strasbourg – Stuttgart – İzmir
After breakfast, check out and depart for Stuttgart. Stuttgart, located in southwestern Germany among lush hills, is renowned not only for its automotive industry but also for its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural life. On the city tour, visit Schlossplatz (Palace Square), Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Palace), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church). After the tour, transfer to the airport at the designated time. Following luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart from Stuttgart at 14:45 on SunExpress flight XQ 973. Arrive in İzmir at 18:35 local time, marking the end of our tour.
