1st Day: Istanbul – Baku

Be at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul New Airport International Departure Terminal 3 hours before the flight departure time. After completing your international departure procedures, depart for Baku on Turkish Airlines flight TK340 at 12:05 PM. After our arrival, we leave the airport and stop for an additional breakfast in the center of Baku before starting our tour. After breakfast, we begin our panoramic city tour. We will see the Heydar Aliyev Center, which has become a symbol of Baku, from a panoramic view. Then we take a short photo break at Flag Square and Baku Boulevard to immortalize this moment. After seeing the newly opened area in Baku called the “Ağ Şehri,” we head to our hotel. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we conduct our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Guests who wish can join our optional “Dinner with Old Baku City Tour.”

Old City, Highland Park (Martyrs' Lane, Turkish Mosque, Soviet Union's Dual Hero Monument, Major General Hazi Aslanov, Flame Towers, Eternal Flame, an observation deck with magnificent views) with views of Baku and the Baku Bay, Baku Television Tower), Mini Venice. The city tour involves a walking and bus tour that starts at the fortress walls of Old City (where the first monument of national poet Sabir, the monument of Nizami, and the date of establishment are located). The program also includes the building of the Philharmonic Orchestra named after the Muslim Magomayev, the City Duma (the first women's school in the East), and a Venetian-style house - a supervision of Ismaili. We will explore Torgoviy Street, famous for its resemblance to Istanbul's Istiklal Street. Here, enjoy magnificent views of the city from the Dagustu Park, where you can savor the beauty of Baku city. Following that, we proceed to the restaurant where we will have dinner as set menu. In this tour, you can discover Azerbaijan's cuisine. Overnight at our hotel.

2nd Day: Baku

After breakfast in the morning, there is free time. Guests wishing can participate in the optional “Lunch included Gobustan – Mud Volcanoes – Carpet Museum” and “Dinner included Musical Azerbaijan Night” tours. Overnight at our hotel.

We head toward Gobustan, located about 65 km southwest of Baku, which is the richest region in Azerbaijan in terms of archaeological artifacts and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Located near the Caspian Sea, Gobustan is also referred to as an open-air museum. It provides important information about prehistoric Middle Ages society, hunting, animals, and vegetation through its rock carvings and petroglyphs found all over the world. Next, we continue our journey to the Mud Volcanoes area near Gobustan. This region is particularly interesting as it is home to half of the world's more than 700 Mud Volcanoes, especially the largest ones, leading you to feel as if you are among "moon craters." After the guided explanations in the area, we will observe the live Volcano movements. After visiting the mud volcanoes, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, then head to the largest Carpet Museum in Azerbaijan, which has plenty of historical significance.

We will have dinner as a set menu at the restaurant while enjoying a night filled with dance, music, and entertainment.

3rd Day: Baku

After breakfast in the morning, there is free time. Guests wishing can participate in the optional tour of Atasgah, Yanardag & Heydar Aliyev Museum. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

 

Optional Tour: Atasgah, Yanardag & Heydar Aliyev Museum Tour Per Person – 80 Dollars

Located 30 km from Baku's center on the slopes of Surakhani village, the Eternal Flame Temple (17th-18th centuries) is revered at various times by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs. The temple got its name "Atasgah" because the "eternal" flames cannot be extinguished due to natural gas outlets. After this visit, we return to Baku to visit the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. The center, which reflects the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan mythology, is designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid and took 3.5 years to build. The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, regarded as one of Azerbaijan's most important structures, is symbolizing the Azeri society's approach to the future with its modern, extraordinary, and futuristic architecture. Inside the center, there are permanent and temporary exhibitions, archaeological finds, a section for ethnography, classical tools, personal belongings of Heydar Aliyev, and his official vehicles. In this visit, you will gain extensive knowledge from Azerbaijan's past to its present. Following the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel until the transfer time determined by our guide.

4th Day: Baku-Istanbul

 

After breakfast at the hotel, check out of the rooms and enjoy free time. ***Important Note: The latest check-out time and key return time at the hotels is 12:00 PM. Guests who wish can join the optional "Shopping Tour".

 

Meet at the time determined by the guide for the transfer to the airport. After the transfer to the airport, we complete our ticket, luggage, and passport procedures and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK335. After our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the end of our tour.

Our tour begins with the famous historic Green Bazaar (Sharg market). Get ready to explore the famous Green Bazaar, one of the most delicious and colorful places in Baku; the air is filled with the scent of spices, while the stalls overflow with fresh fruits, sweets, jams, teas, and more. After exploring the bazaar, we visit Ganjlik Mall, one of Baku's largest shopping centers filled with international brands, cafes, cinemas, and restaurants. Then we head toward Ajami Street, the famous shopping street in Baku. On Ajami Street, discover a perfect combination of international stores, fashion boutiques, traditional shops, and markets. You can find everything you need in this beautiful city.

    IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In order to benefit from the advantageous travel package prices in extra tours, the payment must be made to the local agency representative during the tour.
  • Extra tours are held with a minimum of 15 participants. In case of participation less than 15 people, there may be changes in tour prices or it can be conducted by metro. Our guide may change the days of extra tours keeping the content the same.
  • In cases where only category information is provided without specifying hotel names in the tour program and/or options are available for the same destination, the hotels will be announced by your agency 48 hours prior to the tour departure.
  • The guide will meet passengers in the area where they disembark. The included guide service only covers panoramic city tours and round-trip airport transfers. If extra tours are taken, guiding services will also be provided. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
  • In times of fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances exceeding the stated kilometers. In such cases, BTB Tours will inform you two days before the tour departure.
  • Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are designed for the general introduction of cities and are conducted for a maximum of 2-3 hours without including entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites.
  • BTB Tours is not responsible for the inability to conduct the tours mentioned due to closures of places to be visited by local authorities, closed roads due to any events along the route, or due to weather conditions preventing the tour. Some tours may be conducted using public transport or on foot due to closed roads or restricted access to vehicles.
  • GENERAL TERMS

  • The tour program specified at the time of reservation is mandatory to communicate the general terms and obligations available below to guests. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints arising from the provided information. Our guest is considered to have read and accepted all items in advance.
  • Guests traveling with a T.C. green passport whose passport acquisition date is older than 10 years must renew their passport. Otherwise, they may not be accepted into the country they are going to and/or may not be able to fly from Turkey by the airline company. In such a case, the responsibility falls to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
  • To avoid issues with customs authorities at the border crossing of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports; it is necessary to renew those passports and if the visited country requires visas for T.C. citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility falls to the passenger.
  • Guests’ passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of the return flight. In case of any impediment, it falls under the responsibility of the guests.                   
  • BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa as it sees fit, and BTB TOURS has no responsibility in relation to the passenger's inability to obtain a visa. BTB TOURS only takes on the role of an intermediary. BTB TOURS has no obligations or responsibilities for personal visa applications.
  • Guests must check the accuracy of the information on the visa they received through BTB TOURS, as the company is not responsible for any errors or impediments that might occur due to errors on the visa.
  • For passengers who will apply for a visa themselves, the provision of necessary documents (hotel confirmation, flight tickets, etc.) normally takes 1 business day. Guests should arrange their appointment dates and times considering this period. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for possible inconveniences.
  • If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not participate/cannot participate in the relevant tour, no refund will be made for visa fees and service charges. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through BTB TOUR's Visa Department and this visa service was indicated as an additional service in the travel contract, if BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or for other reasons, the guest can receive the remaining amount after presenting the passport that indicates they have not used their visa within at least 1 week before the visa expiration date, excluding the fees and similar amounts paid to the consulates for the visa. If the guest obtained their visa by other means or with the help of another visa agency and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour for any reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
  • There may be changes in the itinerary depending on the city where the plane will land. The airplane type and time can change, and hotels may be subject to variations, especially during high season or special periods; thus, another hotel can be provided. These situations have been informed at the time of agreement, and THE PASSENGER HAS ACCEPTED THE RISK OF CHANGE IN TIME AND HOTEL CHANGE WHILE PURCHASING THE TOUR.
  • Triple rooms are subject to availability at hotels. An extra bed application is available in triple rooms, and the 3rd bed is smaller than the standard bed. A guarantee of three separate beds in triple rooms cannot be provided; it depends on whether suitable rooms are available at the hotel.
  • Child discounts are only valid for children staying with two adults.
  • The hotels offer continental breakfast, which is not a Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
  • Group breakfasts may be served in a separate hall.
  • During reservation/registration, it is necessary to provide and enter the names, surnames, dates of birth, and passport numbers that appear on the passport. Flight tickets will be issued according to this information. The penalties for cancellations or changes in flight tickets caused by incorrect information are the responsibility of the guest.
  • Guests are required to have a travel and health insurance that starts one day before the tour date and ends one day after. They must also carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests without travel insurance may be subject to fines from the local police. The responsibility in case of facing fines due to not carrying insurance lies with the guests.
  • Due to diplomatic relations between countries, visiting some countries may result in not being able to obtain visas for one or multiple countries, or may prevent access at border crossings, and since this situation is beyond the control of BTB TOURS, it is accepted that BTB TOURS has no responsibility in such cases.
  • In order to provide an economic benefit in the group visit, guests who do not wish to participate in the tours along the route agree to wait at a nearby facility until the extra tour is over. At the end of the tour, our bus will pick up these guests, and our journey will continue.
  • Panoramic city tours are conducted for the purpose of introducing the cities. City tours and extra trips may be held on different days provided the content remains unchanged or may not occur due to the weather. In this situation, BTB TOURS is obliged to provide the most suitable alternative to our valued guests. Extra tours are organized with a minimum of 20 participants. If the required majority is not reached, extra tours may not be conducted, or prices may change.
  • Tours or visits that are not permitted by local authorities due to any reason will not take place. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible for the inability to conduct these tours.
  • The seating arrangement for the flights in our programs is a group arrangement, and round-trip tickets are issued as a single ticket. In case of missing or not using the outbound flight, the return flight may automatically get canceled. In such cases, the rules of the airline apply.
  • Last-minute delays and gate changes in flights will be displayed on information boards/screens at airports. This information must be followed by individuals. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the passenger must pay for their new ticket (if necessary, based on the previous item, a round-trip ticket) themselves. Moreover, if the group’s departure is missed, the first day's program may be partially or completely missed; in this case, the responsibility lies with the passenger. Additionally, if the passenger is going to the city/country with a flight different from the group, the transfer between the airport-city or airport-hotel is the responsibility of the passenger.
  • Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets with miles can only do so after the tickets have been issued, and if there is availability on the relevant flight of the airline. Since the flight seats in our programs are in the group class, if the desired ticket can be upgraded, payment of the difference indicated by the airline before upgrading the ticket from the group class to the upgradeable economy class may be required. The price difference that occurs in this situation lies with the passenger. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the trip.
  • To use your mobile phone abroad, you need to check with your GSM operator whether your line is open for international calls before leaving Turkey.
  • During your trip, please ensure that you have collected all your belongings when briefly or completely leaving the means of transportation and accommodations.
  • BTB TOURS reserves the right to change the sequence of cities and/or the airline used for the trip, without compromising the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
  • BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names as long as the categories remain the same.
  • BTB TOURS is not responsible for items forgotten, lost, or stolen during the tour.
  • Children under 18 years of age must obtain consent from their father if traveling with their mother, from their mother if traveling with their father, or from both parents if traveling with a third party. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a consent form.
  • The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from it.
