Day 3 Corfu
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Corfu port at 13:00. After lunch, passengers will have some free time to explore the area. Corfu is an island in the Ionian Sea, part of the Mediterranean, located northwest of Greece. Its history dates back to around 730 BC, and throughout history, it has been under the control of many different civilizations, resulting in a rich and diverse culture. In particular, it has a cosmopolitan character in terms of art, architecture, cuisine, and cultural features. Visitors can start exploring the historic city of Corfu, which features Venetian architecture, medieval streets, and historic sites. Places to visit include Esplanade Park, Old Fortress, St. Michael’s Palace, and St. George’s Church. Other notable sights are Canal d’Amor, Achilleion Palace, and Pantokrator Monastery. Additionally, beaches such as Paleokastritsa, Glyfada, or La Grotta are ideal for enjoying the clear waters of southern Italy’s enchanting coast. Day 4 Bari
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Bari port at 07:00. After breakfast, guests will have free time to explore the city. Bari, the capital of the Apulia region in southern Italy, is one of Italy’s oldest cities. It is renowned for its captivating history. Visitors should explore the Basilica of San Nicola, the Norman-Swabian Castle, San Sabino Cathedral Basilica, Piazza Mercantile, Piazza del Ferrarese, Via Sparano, the Petruzzelli Theatre, and Bari Metropolitan Art Gallery. For those wanting to enjoy the beaches, Paleokastritsa, Glyfada, or La Grotta beaches are options, allowing enjoyment of the clear waters of southern Italy. The ship will depart from the port at 14:00 in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board, with access to pools, jacuzzis, and entertainment options.
Day 5 Trieste (Venice)
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Trieste (Venice) port at 09:00. After breakfast, guests will have free time to explore. Trieste is an enchanting city with rich culture, architecture, and breathtaking nature. Located at the gateway to the Mediterranean, it has been influenced by various cultures, creating a diverse cultural landscape. Must-see sights include Piazza Unità, Miramare Castle, San Giusto Basilica, Civic Museum, Borgo Teresiano, and the Carso Triestino Nature Reserve. Other recommended attractions are Piazza dell'Unità d’Italia, the Grand Canal, Castle Hill, Santa Maria Maggiore, Revoltella Civic Museum, and the Giant Grotto. The ship will depart at 19:00. Day 7 Katakolon (Olympia)
MSC FANTASIA will arrive at Katakolon port at 07:00. After breakfast, guests will have free time to explore. Guests disembarking at Katakolon are greeted by Praxitelli and Kondily streets. They are recommended to visit Pontikokastro (a castle from Byzantine times), Skafidia Monastery, and Mercouri Factory. For those seeking the clear waters of the Greek coasts, options include Spinalonga Beach or Katakolo Beach. For those intending to visit Olympia Archaeological Site, about 35 kilometers away, buses depart from Katakolon.
