Tour Program

Day 1 Istanbul – Kavala
On the first day of our journey, we will depart at 21:00 from Kadıköy Marriage Office, 21:30 from Mecidiyeköy Oto Ekspertiz, and at 22:00 from Incirli Omur Plaza. At 22:30, we will depart from Beylikdüzü Marmara Park, crossing Tekirdağ towards Ipsala border gate. After completing passport and customs procedures, we will reach Kavala via Dedeağac, Gümülcine, and İskeçe.

Day 2 Kavala – Thessaloniki – Bitola (Manastır) – Resne – Ohrid
After arriving in Kavala, we will take a breakfast break and enjoy the delicious Kavala cookies. After breakfast, we will have a short photo break at the beautiful Kavala beaches and head towards Thessaloniki. Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we will start our panoramic city tour. During our panoramic city tour, we will see Kordon, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair, Thessaloniki Castle, Ottoman and Byzantine artifacts. After visiting the Church of Saint Demetrius, the largest church in Greece, and the house of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which is now located in the garden of the Turkish consulate, we will move to Bitola. After arriving, we will visit the Şirok Street, Bedesten, İshak Mosque, New Mosque, and experience the emotional moments at Atatürk’s Military Academy which he graduated from. After the visit, we will pass through Resne, the hometown of Resneli Niyazi, and arrive in Ohrid. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast:: Extra breakfast will be taken at the rest area in Kavala.
Lunch: Will be taken extra during free time in Thessaloniki city center. - You can taste all the local delicacies. Guide Suggestion:  Seafood and Mezes.

Day 3 Ohrid – Sveti Naum- Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will cross the Mavrovo Mountains towards Ohrid, which is a Mediterranean town in the Balkans. Our tour of Ohrid will begin at the Harbor Square, where we will discuss the statues we will see and then take a walk through the district with historical Ottoman houses and the church of Ayasofya, and conclude our tour with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, which is the most distinguishable symbol of Ohrid. Those who wish can participate in the boat activity on Ohrid Lake, organized by our guide (15EUR). After our tour, we will head towards St. Naum, which boasts amazing views. After our tour, we will begin our journey to the capital Skopje. On the way, we will visit Tetovo (Kalkandelen), the third largest city in the country, where the Albanian population is dense. We will visit the Alaca Mosque and Imarethane, which were founded by two sisters. We will start our city tour on the Macedonian side, which can be called the land of statues, with the gigantic statue of Alexander the Great among other statues. Then, we will cross the historical Stone Bridge over the Vardar River and witness how the cultures change. We will move towards the Üsküp Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottomans in the Balkans. We will start our tour of the bazaar by seeing the historical Davut Paşa Bath and continue to the Kapan Han, then the Murat Paşa Mosque that has survived the earthquakes. After our visits, we will have an hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Among the things we can buy are Şuşka pepper, ustrumca peanuts, and çarıklar. After the tour, we’ll transfer back to our hotel and settle into the rooms. In the evening, we will have an extra traditional meal and music during the Macedonian Night at the designated place by the guide. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4  Skopje – Prizren – Shkodër or Podgorica
After breakfast at the hotel, we will perform the Matka Canyon tour, known for its exceptional beauty (Included in the price !!!). Afterwards, we will head towards the capital of Kosovo, Pristina. After crossing the Kosovo border, during our journey, we will have a panoramic transition to Pristina and visit the tomb of I.Sultan Murat Hüdavendigar after experiencing the Kosovo Plain, where the Kosovo War occurred. Then we will continue towards Prizren. Upon arrival in Prizren, where the Turkish population is the most dense in the country, we will have a city tour.During our panoramic tour in Prizren, one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque constructed in 1615, and the Prizren Castle.After visiting, we will have free time for lunch. After gathering, we will cross into the country of Albania and head towards Podgorica. With the passage through the city of Shkodër, we are heading towards Montenegro, one of Europe’s youngest states. After border crossing and continuing the journey in Montenegro, we arrive at our accommodation point. Check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Podgorica - Budva – Kotor – Dubrovnik – Trebinje or Surroundings
After breakfast, our first stop will be a panoramic sight of St. Stefan, which was once a settlement area for fishermen before it was expropriated and sold to a Singaporean multimillionaire, becoming a holiday resort for the jet set today. (Depending on parking availability). We will continue along the extraordinary scenic roads along the Adriatic coast, passing through Budva and arriving in Kotor, located in the Kotor Bay. In Kotor, we will see the Old Town, St. Tripun and Nikola Churches, and the historical Clock Tower. After visiting Kotor, we will head to Croatia, one of the three main countries that made up the former Yugoslavia, known for its predominantly Catholic faith due to its proximity to the Adriatic Coast and thus having more Italian-Mediterranean culture rather than Balkan culture. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik (Included in the price!!!), which was founded as one of the oldest trade ports on the Adriatic and for a long time influenced by Venice, we will visit the Old City Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our city tour will start with the Old City walls and the churches, including the Church of St. Blaise, the Rector's Palace, and the historical fountain from the 14th century. After the tour, we will have free time to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the beautiful city.

After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Trebinje or surrounding area. (The city of accommodation may change depending on seasonality)

Day 6  Trebinje or (Neum) - Blagay – Mostar – Sarajevo 
After having breakfast, we will move towards Mostar. Before arriving in Mostar, we will perform the Blagay tour at Blagay Tekkesi (Included in the price !!!). After arriving in Mostar, we will start a walking city tour where we will visit the Old Bridge. (The bridge was built in 1557 by architect Hayreddin and is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.) The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery in 1992, but was reopened in 2004 with contributions from the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old town bazaar. After free time for shopping at local markets in Mostar, we’ll head towards Sarajevo. After our arrival, we will perform a panoramic city tour in Sarajevo, which has served as the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and was the place where Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was assassinated in 1914, leading to World War I. We will walk through the most distinguished bazaar in Europe, Baščaršija. Our tour of this cultural city will start with the Sebil Fountain, which has become a symbol of the city, and then we will see Morica Han, one of the most authentic stops in the city. Afterwards, we will visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Suleiman the Magnificent. In this tour, we will also see the Clock Tower, the famous fountain which has become a ritual, and the meeting point of cultures, known as the Eternal Flame monument, then we will have free time. Guests may photograph the Latin Bridge, where World War I began, during their free time. After the tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Lastly, we will have Bosnian Meatballs at a traditional restaurant designated by the guide (Included in the price!!!!)Accommodation at our hotel in Sarajevo.

Day 7 Sarajevo – Belgrade
After breakfast, we will head towards Belgrade. Before the journey, we will carry out the Vrelo Bosna tour, located at the foothills of Mount Igman, which is Bosnia's largest national park (Included in the price!!!). After our journey, we will begin the city tour in Belgrade, which has become a symbol of liveliness and movement, one of Europe's oldest cities, starting with Knez Mihailova Street, the city's most elegant street. Then, we will visit Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmet was injured and its conquest was attributed to Kanuni Sultan Suleiman. Inside the fortress, we will see the Key Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, the Tomb of Damat Ali Pasha, the Sokullu fountain, and end our tour at a terrace overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, the most beautiful view of the city. Guests may participate in a boat activity on the Danube and Sava rivers organized by our guide (20 EUR). After our tour, we will have free time. Overnight at our hotel in Belgrade.

Day 8 Belgrade – Sofia – Istanbul
After breakfast, we will depart for Sofia. Upon arrival, we will start our panoramic city tour. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the largest church in the Balkans, the National Library, Sofia University, the former royal palace, the National Bulgarian Theater made in neo-classical style, the Archaeological Museum, ancient Sofia - the city of unions, and the Rotunda Church. Afterward, we will have a panoramic view and photo break at Sofia Monument, next to the Parliament building, and visit the Banya Başı Mosque, which is the symbol of the city. After our visits and free time, we will head back to Turkey. We will arrive in the evening at the Kapıkule border gate for passport and customs procedures, and after shopping at the free shop, we will enter Turkey. Following the Çorlu route, we will arrive at the starting points in Istanbul, marking the end of the program.

- All guests participating must have a valid Multi (Multiple Entry) Schengen visa during the tour. (Green Passport holders are exempt from the visa requirement.)
- To make purchases and expenses in all countries during the tour, it is sufficient to carry Euros. The guide will assist with currency exchange in regions where local currency is used.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended during the trip. It is also advisable to have a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- Our tours implement seat rotation (seat change) in the seating plan daily, and a fixed seat or front seat guarantee is not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.

- To bring items (alcohol - cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, there is a minimum accommodation requirement of 3 days.
- The duty-free shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons , Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drink (alcoholic drinks with more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne are excluded) , Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drink (alcoholic drinks with less than 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne) , Perfume: 600 ml , Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items , Chocolate and Sweets: 2 kg ,Coffee: 1 kg ,Tea: 1 kg 
- During the tour program, guides may make changes in the program flow, provided they show all the places specified in the itinerary based on weather and road conditions.
- Guests who have registered for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour. If it is less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% fee will be charged, and if it is 20 days or less, a 100% fee will be charged. Cancellation requests along with hospital reports, work permission documents, etc., from the authorities in Turkey, regarding cancellations of hotels and services they will receive outside of Turkey will unfortunately not be accepted.

Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the last cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel.

- If only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or if there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be informed by Viyatravel 2 days before the movement of the trip.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the indicated km. In such cases, Viyatravel will provide information 15 days prior to the departure date of the tour.
- Triple rooms are granted depending on the availability of hotels, and in these types of rooms, the bed designated for the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are made of folding and coach bed types, tour participants are deemed to have accepted the possible tightness and bed types that may occur in rooms for 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one single child who falls within the age group staying with 2 adults.

- The services included in the tour program from hotel breakfast are usually served as a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, according to the breakfast culture of the country being visited and may be served in a separate hall dedicated to groups.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are conducted as introductions to the cities and are made from inside a vehicle with a guide's narration, not including museum or site entrances, and last a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours will not be the responsibility of Viyatravel if they cannot be made due to local authority permission issues, closed roads due to any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot if there are closed roads or places where vehicle entry is not permitted during the tour.

Waiting times at customs gates during road travel may exceed the standards, and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any negative experiences arising from these waiting times.
- Optional tours are organized by the local Viyatravel with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If enough numbers are not achieved, trips cannot be made, or the prices, content, and the vehicle to be used for extra trips may change depending on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be altered by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the visited locations and weather conditions.
- Optional tours are dependent on the participant's request and are not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the optional tours arranged during the tour accept waiting in an available rest area on the way. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the optional tour starts and will be picked up from the drop-off point after the tour is completed.
- For those participating in flight tours, check-in and boarding procedures must be done by the guests themselves at the airline counters at the airports or online via the airline companies' websites before the flight.

- For those who are not present at the designated airport at the times reported by Viyatravel, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete these procedures on time but do not board the plane, Viyatravel is not responsible for their inability to make the flight. All expenses for new round-trip airline tickets and transfers at the destination for those who miss the flight will be their responsibility.

Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change before the existing tour and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to communicate these changes as soon as possible. The passenger acknowledges the risk of time changes when purchasing the tour. Children aged 0-2 do not pay the airport tax and airport service fees.
- The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified according to the number of participants as follows. The vehicle types specified below are determined based on the number of participants in each tour.
