Day 1 Istanbul – Edirne – Thessaloniki

On the first day of our trip, departure is at 22:00 from Kadıköy Marriage Office in front of, 22:30 at Mecidiyeköy Auto Inspection Center, 23:00 at Bakırköy Oкour Center, and 23:30 from Beylikdüzü Marmara Park. We follow the Silivri – Edirne highway to İpsala border gate, crossing into Greece. After passport and customs procedures, we proceed via the cities of Dedeağaç – Komotini – Xanthi to Kavala.
 
Day 2 Kavala – (Thassos Island - Panagia Village) - Thessaloniki
Arrival in Kavala, followed by breakfast and a chance to taste the famous Kavala cookies. After breakfast, a short photo stop at the stunning beaches of Kavala, then free time for the rest of the day. Guests can join the optional tour of Thassos Island and Panagia Village (35 EUR). We depart for the Keramoti port by boat to Thassos Island. After arrival, enjoy the beaches of one of the island's most famous beaches, with sea, sand, and sun. Around 16:00, we leave the beach and head to Panagia, the most beautiful village of the island. In the village, make wishes at the Love Fountain, visit an olive oil factory, and then enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the village square, where goats are roasted, and Greek dishes are served. At 18:30, we depart by ferry from the island, return to Kavala to pick up remaining guests, and check into our hotel in Thessaloniki. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast: Will be provided en route and is optional. Options include soup, breakfast platter, pastry, and brewed tea.
Lunch: Free time in Thessaloniki city center, optional extra. The guide recommends trying seafood at the waterfront restaurants called Kordon.
Dinner: Guests may join the optional Taverna Tour, where they can enjoy delicious Greek food, Greek music, and bouzouki with unlimited entertainment (65 EUR).
Route: Istanbul-Kavala (447 km), Kavala-Thessaloniki (153 km)
 
Day 3 Thessaloniki – Halkidiki
After breakfast, we depart for Thessaloniki city tour; panoramic city tour including the promenade, White Tower, Dönner Tower, Exhibition Square, Ottoman and Byzantine landmarks, the largest cathedral of Greece, Hagia Demetrios, Alexander the Great Statue, Hamza Bey Mosque, sculptures of E. Venezelo & P. Konstantin, Vardar River, Macedonia, Aristotle, Eleftherios Squares will be visited. We visit Atatürk’s house, the founder of modern Turkey, and have free time. Guests can join the optional Halkidiki beach tour (25 EUR), which takes us to Kassandra in the Halkidiki peninsula, famous for its beaches. We spend the day at the beautiful beaches of Kassandra, enjoying the sea, sand, and sun. Around 16:00, we leave the beach and return to Thessaloniki with the remaining guests. Overnight at the hotel. (Guests not wanting to come to the beach can spend time in Thessaloniki.) In the evening, guests can join the optional Greek Tavern Evening Tour with guide, enjoying delicious food, Greek music, and bouzouki, for unlimited fun (65 EUR).

Day 4. Thessaloniki – Ammalofos – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards the region of Ammalofos near Kavala, known for its beautiful sandy beaches in Greece. We relax at the beach with sea, sand, and sun all day. Around 16:00, we leave the beach and make a stop at the Kavala cookie factory. After the stop, we proceed through Xanthi – Komotini – Dedeağaç, passing through the cities panoramically, and reach the İpsala border gate. After completing passport and customs procedures, we follow the route through Tekirdağ – Silivri – Istanbul. After a free break in Tekirdağ, we arrive in Istanbul in the evening, marking the end of the program.
*Greek beaches have spending limits on sunbeds and beach services. Our tour guide will inform you about this during the route.
Breakfast: Will be provided at the hotel and included in the tour fee.
Lunch: Free time at Ammalofie; optional extra.
Dinner: Will be at a suitable establishment on the way and will be paid extra.

Need to Know
Notification, - Our guests presenting a valid Schengen visa throughout the tour duration are required to have one. (Green Passport holders are exempt from visa.) - During the tour, for shopping and expenditures in all countries included in the program, having Euros is sufficient. The Guide will assist in currency exchange in local currencies. - Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the travel. It is also advisable to carry an extra garment for the night. - For entry from abroad into Turkey, a minimum of 3 days of stay is required to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.). - The free shop limits upon entry into Turkey are: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcohol (excluding those containing more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), 2 liters of alcohol with less than 22% alcohol (including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg. - The tour program’s guides may change the order of the places visited depending on weather and road conditions, but the entire program will be covered. - Guests registering for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before; if less than 30 days remain, 30% penalty applies. If 20 days or less remain, 100% penalty applies. Rescheduling requests accompanied by relevant official documents (hospital reports, work permits, etc.) are not accepted for cancellations outside the specified terms. - The minimum number of participants for our tour is 25. If sufficient participants are not achieved, the last cancellation deadline is 20 days before the tour start date. Canceled tours will be notified by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is provided without specific names or with alternative options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Viyatravel 2 days before the travel date. - Hotels may be more than the specified distance in events like fairs, congresses, concerts, sports tournaments, etc. In such cases, Viyatravel will notify at least 15 days before the departure date. - Triple rooms are available depending on hotel availability, but the beds may be smaller than standard. They consist of one large bed and an additional fold-away or coach bed. Participants agree to potential discomfort and bed types in such rooms. Child discounts apply only for one child sharing with two adults, in the age group specified. - The breakfasts included in the hotel are typically continental, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee. The meals may be served in a separate hall designated for the group. - The panoramic city tours included in the tour packages are brief (max 2-3 hours), organized with guide narration from the bus, and do not include entrance fees to museums or other sites. These tours may be affected by road closures, weather, or other restrictions, and Viyatravel is not responsible for cancellations or changes. Some may be replaced with walking or public transportation if necessary. - During travel, wait times at customs gates may vary and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for delays. - Extra tours are organized by local Viyatravel with a minimum of 20 participants. If insufficient numbers are achieved, tours may be canceled or prices, content, and vehicles may change. The schedule and locations of extra tours may change depending on the opening/closing status of sites and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional; those who choose not to join will wait at a designated rest area. They will be picked up after the tour at the original departure point. - Flight tour participants must handle check-in and boarding procedures personally, prior to the flight, either online or at the airport counters. - Viyatravel is not responsible for passengers who fail to arrive at the airport on time, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures, or do not board the aircraft, and cannot participate in the tour due to these reasons. Those who miss their flight will have to pay for new tickets and transfers and cover their own expenses. - Viyatravel functions as an intermediary with airlines, subjected to the 1955 Hague Protocol. Scheduled and charter flights may have rescheduling risks, and hours may change before the trip or flight. Viyatravel will notify of these changes as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of schedule changes and purchase the tour accordingly.
