Halkidiki-Salonika – Kavala – Thassos Island Tour

Day 1 Istanbul – Keşan - Kavala
On the first day of our trip, we depart at 22:00 from the Kadıköy Marriage Office, 22:30 from in front of Mecidiyeköy Oto Ekspertiz, 23:00 from Bakırköy Ömür Shopping Center, 23:30 from Beylikdüzü Marmara Park, and proceed along the Silivri - Keşan highway to reach the İpsala border gate. After passport and customs procedures, we will follow the road to Dedeağaç - Gümülcine - İskeçe for our journey to Salonika.
 
Day 2 Kavala – Halkidiki - Salonika
Upon our arrival in Kavala, we take a break for breakfast and to taste the delicious Kavala cookies. After breakfast, we take a short photo break on the Kavala shores, which is known for its unique beauty, and head to the world-famous Halkidiki peninsula. In Halkidiki, which is famous for its sea, beaches, coves, villages, and hotels, you will have a full day of free time to swim and sunbathe at one of the famous beaches.Then, upon arrival in Salonika, we will take a panoramic city tour which includes the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Exhibition Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, the largest cathedral in Greece, the Church of Saint Demetrius, the Alexander the Great statue, Hamza Bey Mosque, E. Venizelos - P. Konstantinos statues, as well as Vardar, Macedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios squares. At the end of the tour, we will visit the house of our Great Leader Atatürk and transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests have the option to join the Greek Tavern Tour organized by our guide, which offers delicious meals and unlimited entertainment with Greek music and bouzouki. (65EUR). (Note: Guests who do not join the tavern tour can opt for the round trip transfer in Salonika at 15EUR per person.) Overnight at our hotel.
Breakfast: Will be extra upon the road. Soup, breakfast plate, pastry, and brewed tea alternatives can be considered.
Lunch: Will be extra in free time in Salonika city center. The guide recommends seafood at fish restaurants by the waterfront.
Dinner: Guests can optionally join an extra organized Tavern Tour.
Route: Istanbul-Kavala (447 km), Kavala-Halkidiki (156 km), Halkidiki-Salonika(68 km)
 
Day 3 Salonika – Keramoti – (Thassos Island - Panagia Village) – Dedeağaç – Istanbul
After breakfast, we head to Keramoti. Upon arrival, we have an entire day of free time in Keramoti. Guests can optionally participate in the extra scheduled Thassos Island tour. (35EUR) Upon arrival at Thassos Island by ferry, we enjoy the sun, sea, and sand at one of the island's most famous beaches. Then we will visit Panagia village, known for its honey and olive oils. At 17:00, we will leave the beach and return to Keramoti by ferry. After departing from Keramoti, we will pass through the cities of İskeçe & Gümülcine & Dedeağaç panoramically and journey to the İpsala border gate. After passport and customs procedures, we will head to Istanbul along the Keşan- Tekirdağ- Silivri highway. After a free meatball break in Tekirdağ, we will arrive at the starting points in Istanbul in the evening, concluding our program.
Breakfast: Will be provided at our hotel and included in the tour price.
Lunch: Will be extra during free time in the city center of Keramoti or Thassos Island.
Dinner: Will be provided optionally at a suitable facility on the way.

- Guests participating in the tour are required to have a valid Schengen visa throughout the duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from the visa requirement.) - To make purchases and expenses in all countries included in the program, it is sufficient to carry Euros. The guide will assist with currency exchange in areas where the local currency is used. - Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is advisable to bring a sweater or similar clothing for the evening. - There is a minimum stay requirement of 3 days to bring goods (such as alcohol and cigarettes) into Turkey when entering from abroad. - The free shop shopping limits for entry into Turkey from abroad are: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverage (with more than 22% alcohol content other than spirits, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverage (including spirits, wine, and champagne with less than 22% alcohol content), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skincare Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Sweets: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg. - During the tour, guides may make changes to the program flow as long as they show all the places mentioned in the program depending on weather and road conditions. - Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel for free up to 30 days prior. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty will be applied; if it occurs 20 days or less before the tour date, a 100% penalty will be applied. Cancellation requests along with documents such as hospital reports from authorities in Turkey, work permit documents, etc., will unfortunately not be accepted for the cancellation of services and hotels booked outside of Turkey. - Our tour program is organized with a minimum of 25 participants. If the required participation is not met for the trip, the last cancellation notification date will be 20 days before the tour departure. The tour cancelled due to insufficient participation will be communicated by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names, and/or if there are options available for the same destination, the hotels will be communicated by Viyatravel 2 days before the tour movement. - During periods of fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located beyond the indicated distances. In such cases, Viyatravel will inform participants 15 days before the tour departure date. - Triple rooms may be provided according to hotel availability; in these types of rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of folding and coach beds, tour participants in reservations for a 3rd person and/or child accept the potential congestion and bed type in the rooms. Child discounts apply only to one child matching the age group staying with two adults. - The breakfasts included in the tour package are typically served as limited menus consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a separate room assigned to the group, in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited. - The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for a general introduction to the cities and are conducted via narration by the guide from inside the vehicle. They do not include entrance fees for museums or historical sites and typically last a maximum of 2-3 hours. Viyatravel is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours if local authorities do not permit access due to reasons such as closed roads or any event, or if the tours become impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot in locations where vehicle access is not allowed or roads are closed due to certain circumstances. - During travel, the waiting times at border crossings via road may exceed standard times; Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for negative experiences arising from these waiting times. - Extra tours are organized by the local Viyatravel with a minimum attendance requirement of 20 participants. If sufficient numbers do not meet for the trips, they cannot be conducted, or the prices, content, and vehicles to be used for extra tours may vary according to the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed statuses of the museums and historical sites to be visited and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is at the discretion of the participant and is not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour will be considered to have accepted the waiting in an available resting facility on the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside resting place before the start of the extra tour and will be picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed. - For those participating in air tours, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest at the airline counters at the airports or online on the airline’s websites before the flight. - Viyatravel is not responsible for guests who are not present at the designated airport at the specified times, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete those procedures on time but do not board the plane. Guests who miss their flights must bear all costs associated with new round-trip tickets and transfers in the destination area necessary to join the tour. - Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be risks of delays in scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to existing trips. Viyatravel is obliged to notify such changes at the earliest opportunity. The passenger accepts the risk of time changes when purchasing the trip. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees. - The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified according to the number of participants as follows.
