Orthodox priests built these monasteries in the early periods of Christianity to retreat and be closer to God, and they are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area, which was underwater millions of years ago, revealed these colossal rocks over time as the waters receded, and the priests constructed their monasteries on the highest points of the rocks. During the period they were built, there were no means of transportation to the top of the rocks, so the priests used to lift each other up to the monasteries via rope-made nets for years. After the tour, we move on to Yanya. Once we arrive in Yanya, we start our city tour. Yanya, the largest city in the Epirus region, is also known as the city of Tepedelenli Ali Pasha. Among the places we will see are the Aslanpaşa Mosque, Fethiye Mosque, Ali Pasha's Tomb, Byzantine Museum, and the Ottoman Castle. After the city tour, we provide free time. Following the free time, we transition to our hotel for accommodation. Accommodation is at our hotel in Yanya.

6th Day: THESSALONIKI – KAVALA – PORTO LAGOS - ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and depart to Kavala. Kavala, one of the most important centers of Western Thrace, has a history dating back to the 600s BC. The city was founded by immigrants from Thassos Island in Greece under the name Neapolis (New City) and remained an Ottoman territory from 1387 to 1912. Today, a significant part of the city's population is Greek. Notably, Greeks from Cappadocia settled here during the population exchange in 1923. Upon arrival in Kavala, we will begin our panoramic city tour. Must-see places in Kavala include the old town called Panagia. As we head to the old town, the first place we will see is the Church of Saint Nicholas. Built in 1530 by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman for Ibrahim Pasha, this mosque was converted into a church in 1926 by reducing its minaret and adding Christian mosaics to it. Other historical sites we will see during our tour include Kavala Castle, the house of Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Pasha, an imaret that is now used as a hotel, and the aqueduct, alongside the old town. After the Kavala city tour, we will proceed to Porto Lagos. We will walk on the bridge built over Vistonida Lake and visit the Agios Nikolaos church. After a photo break with scenic views of the lake, we head to the Kipi Land Border Gate in Greece. After arriving, we complete our passport and customs procedures, followed by a shopping opportunity at the free shop, and head to the Ipsala Land Border Gate.
