Meeting at Istanbul Airport Departures Terminal in front of the Aegean Airlines counter 3 hours before departure. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure to Crete with Aegean Airlines flight A3435 at 16:00. Arriving in Crete at 17:30 local time and then our vehicle waiting at the airport begins our tour of Crete. According to legends, Crete, the birthplace of Zeus, carries traces of many civilizations deep in its history. The island's historical sites include Plateia Eleftherias (Freedom Square), Agios Titos Church, Rasih Bey Mansion, Ayos Minas Cathedral, Ottoman Bon Marche Building, Valide Sultan Mosque Fountain, Evkaf Building, Morosini Fountain, Ottoman Fortresses, Venice Loggias, Venice Port, and shipyards. After the city tour, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Crete

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join an **additional** tour of the Magnificent Villages (Spinalonga & Elounda & Agios Nikolaos) (90 Euro). Our first stop is Spinalonga, accessible by a short boat ride from Plaka harbor. We will explore the island's historic structures and remnants from the colonial era. After enjoying the breathtaking views, our second stop is the harbor town of Elounda, known for its luxury resorts, chic restaurants, and beautiful beaches. After a break here, our tour’s final destination is Agios Nikolaos. Located on the eastern coast of Crete, this city is one of the island's popular tourist spots. Famous for its beautiful beaches, historical heritage, and natural surroundings, it is named after Saint Nicholas and is considered his protector. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Crete

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join an **additional** tour of the Villages and Towns (Fodele Village & Rethymno (Resmo) & Chania (Hanya)) (90 Euro). Fodele, the birthplace of the famous Greek painter El Greco, is a popular tourist destination known for its natural beauty, history, and cultural significance. The village features traditional houses, narrow streets, and squares in typical Cretan architecture. Our second stop is Rethymno (Resmo), the third largest city on Crete and an important tourist center. Rethymno has a rich history, with roots in the Venetian era, and many buildings from Venetian and Ottoman periods. The most famous symbol is the Venetian Rethymno Fortress, located near the city center on the waterfront, which appeals to history enthusiasts and photographers alike. Its narrow, cobbled streets, traditional houses, and inns in the old town create a historical atmosphere. Rethymno is also known for its beautiful beaches, with popular coastal areas like Platanias, Bali, and Georgioupolis where visitors can enjoy sun and sea. Our final stop is Chania (Hanya), located in the western part of Crete and one of the island's most important port cities. Chania is renowned for its historical and natural beauty. The Venetian Harbor, a city landmark, is surrounded by many historical structures including the Venetian Lighthouse, Archaeological Museum, and Maritime Museum of Crete. Its narrow, cobbled streets and traditional Cretan houses also attract visitors. After enjoying our time here, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

The Venetian Harbor, as well as other historic sites such as the Venetian Lighthouse, the Archaeological Museum, and the Maritime Museum of Crete, are located here. Its narrow, cobbled streets and traditional houses attract visitors. After this, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Crete (Heraklion) – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by your guide. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart to Istanbul at 15:45 with Aegean Airlines flight A3434. Arrive at Istanbul Airport at 17:10 local time and end of our tour.

Need to Know
- For this tour, a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the tour duration is required. - Atlas International acts as an intermediary with the airline and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. - During registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number as on the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Cancellations or changes due to incorrect information, including no-show penalties, will be borne by the guests. - The arrival city of the flight may vary. Airlines may make schedule changes or delays, for which Atlas International cannot be held responsible. - For group tickets, airline rules apply, and if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight cannot be used either. - The general baggage allowance for flights from Turkey is 20kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and destination country. Domestic flights within the destination countries may have a limit of 15kg. Excess baggage fees, weight limits, and rules are determined by airlines and are not the responsibility of Atlas International. - If the number of participants for the package tour is insufficient, the tour will be canceled 20 days in advance and notified to the consumer. - The tour program's routes are sample routes and may change. City tours may be scheduled for the next day(s) depending on arrival times. Visits included in the program may be rearranged to different days at the guide’s discretion for any reason. - Extra tours require a minimum participation of 20 people. If fewer participate, tours may be conducted at the discretion of the guide, possibly with price adjustments. Atlas International cannot be held responsible if these tours cannot be arranged. - On-the-way extra tours will be held if at least 10 people participate.
