Day 1 Istanbul (Saw) – Casablanca – Fes Meet 3 hours before departure at the Airlines counter in the international departures terminal at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. (You need to be at the airport the evening before the specified travel date.) After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart to Casablanca on Air Arabia flight 3O438 at 01:30. Upon arrival in Casablanca at 04:35 local time, transfer with our waiting vehicle to the old capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, Fes. In line with the Berber countries' tradition of naming capitals, like Tunisia and Algeria, Morocco also derives its name from the city of Fes. Fes, built around the Fez River flowing from west to east and surrounded by walls, is also known as "Mecca of the West." The city center, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is among the largest and oldest pedestrian areas in the world. During our old city tour, we will visit unique examples of Islamic architecture such as Bou Inania and Al Attarine Madrasas, the Andalusian Mosque, the Karaouine University, one of the world's oldest higher education institutions, Nejjarine Square, and craftsmen’s market. Tanning houses where leather is processed with techniques unchanged since the Middle Ages are also notable. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 2 Fes – Chefchaouen – Fes After breakfast at the hotel, join the “Magnificent City of Chefchaouen” tour. Located in northwest Morocco at the foothills of the Rif Mountains, this captivating town is famous for its blue-painted buildings, earning it the nickname “Blue City.” Every corner and street are painted in various shades of blue, and the city charms visitors with its natural beauty and unique atmosphere. While wandering through the narrow streets, you can explore traditional markets, artisan shops, and local restaurants. The city also bears traces of local culture and lifestyle; the Berber community living there offers a warm welcome to visitors. The unparalleled blue atmosphere and natural beauty of Chefchaouen make it one of Morocco's most attractive and unforgettable destinations. After the tour, return to our hotel in Fes. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 3 Fes – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Meknes. Nestled between coastal plains and the peaks of the Atlas Mountains, this city has been a trading and cultural crossroads since ancient times. Known as the “City of Yards and Minarets,” Meknes hosts many structures. In our city tour, we will see the striking Bab Mansour city gate with its Mudejar architecture, the Agdal Basin built by Sultan Moulay Ismail, Lajhdi Square, and Dar El Makhzen (Royal Palace). Afterwards, proceed to Rabat, the magnificent capital of Morocco. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic city tour including the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum built in honor of the grandfather of the current king and Morocco’s independence leader, and the Royal Palace. Afterward, head to Casablanca. Upon arrival, start city tour. Casablanca, the country’s economic center and famous for the 1942 Hollywood film named after the city, has the largest port in Morocco. On city streets, you can observe influences from Islamic, French, and Berber cultures. Highlights include Mohammed V Square, the United Nations Square which showcases the city’s historical and contemporary aspects, the exterior of Hassan II Mosque with the world’s second-largest minaret, the old Medina, open-air markets in the Habbous district, the coastal Corniche along the Atlantic Ocean, and the Ain Diab Beach. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 4 Casablanca – Marrakech After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Marrakech. Upon arrival, explore the city’s streets that will take you back centuries, and discover the “Land of God” (Morocco) which means “Mur Akush” in Berber. Marrakech, known as the “Red City” due to its prominent red walls, is one of the most important tourist hubs in Morocco. During our city tour, visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, Majorelle Gardens with its diverse plant collections from around the world, and the heart of the city, Djemaa El Fna Square, known as the “Courtyard of Merchants and Miracles.” Afterward, transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 5 Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech After breakfast, join the “Unesco World Heritage Elegant Essaouira” tour. This coastal town has hosted civilizations since prehistoric times and is known for its medina (old city center) with white city walls, narrow streets, and traditional markets. The UNESCO-listed medina, a fishing port, exudes a tranquil seaside atmosphere and has attracted many artists and cultural figures like Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and Orson Welles over the years. The town has also served as a filming location for the popular series Game of Thrones. In our tour, we will see the walls and fortress of Essaouira, the port with its fish market, and the Medina. The harmonious blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern life, along with shopping opportunities, make Essaouira a charming coastal destination. After the tour, return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 6 Marrakech – Casablanca – Istanbul (Saw) After breakfast and checkout, enjoy free time. Then, transfer to Casablanca Airport as per the guide’s instructions. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart to Istanbul on Air Arabia flight 3O437 at 18:00. Arrive in Istanbul at 00:40 local time and end of our tour.
