Day 1 Istanbul – Casablanca – Marrakech
Upon meeting three hours before departure at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the international departure terminal of Istanbul New Airport, after luggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Casablanca with Turkish Airlines flight TK617 at 12:00. Arriving in Casablanca at 14:55 local time, we will be met and transferred to Marrakech. Upon arrival in Marrakech, a city with narrow streets that will take you back centuries, whose name in Berber means “Land of the Gods” (from “mur akush”), we begin exploring this historic city. Marrakech is also known as the “Red City” because of its famous red walls. During our city tour, we will see the Bahia Palace, which offers a wonderful glimpse of what it was like to be a noble in 19th-century Morocco; the Koutoubia Minaret, one of the city's landmarks; the Majorelle Gardens, home to a plant collection from around the world; and Djemaa El Fna Square, the vibrant heart of the city known as the “Square of Souks and Miracles”. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, we join a tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site Essaouira. This city has hosted civilizations since prehistoric times. Located on the Atlantic coast, surrounded by ancient city walls and medinas (old quarters), with narrow streets and traditional markets, Essaouira is a calm seaside town that offers a relaxing escape. Known as a fishing port, the city is also a hub of art and culture, attracting artists like Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix, and Orson Welles over the years. It also served as a filming location for the popular TV series Game of Thrones. We will see the city walls and Essaouira Castle, the fishing port, and the famous Medina. With its blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern life, you will also have opportunities for shopping. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Marrakech – Rabat – Casablanca
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic city tour including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V—built in memory of the grandfather of the current king who led Morocco’s independence—and the Royal Palace. Then, we proceed to Casablanca. Upon arrival, the city tour begins. Casablanca, made famous worldwide by the 1942 Hollywood film, is Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. While wandering its narrow streets, you can observe influences from Islam, France, and Berber culture. The highlights include the Mohammed V Square, the United Nations Square, the magnificent Hassan II Mosque—famous for its 2nd longest minaret in the world—Old Medina, outdoor markets, the seaside promenade of Ain Diab and Corniche, which stretch along the Atlantic coast. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Casablanca – Istanbul (Return)
After breakfast and check-out, enjoy free time. Then, at the time notified by your guide, transfer to the airport. After luggage and ticket procedures, depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK618 at 16:50. Arrive at 23:30 local time, and end of our tour.
