Day 1: Istanbul – Zurich – Rhine Falls – Lucerne – Zurich Arrive at the Istanbul Airport international departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter 3 hours before departure. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Zurich on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1907 at 07:30. Upon arrival at 09:25 local time, our Zurich city tour begins. The city’s historic center, stunning gothic-style churches, and ancient buildings attract millions of visitors each year. We will see the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and the St. Peter’s Church, which has the largest clock tower in Europe, then stroll along Bahnhofstrasse, the city’s shopping hub. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Then, those who wish can join an optional grand Rhine Falls and Lucerne tour. The cost is 80 Euros. Our first stop on this tour is the magnificent Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe with a width of 150 meters and height of 23 meters. Surrounded by the powerful currents of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you can find peace watching the dancing blue waters. After a captivating walk observing the water’s power and impressive scenery, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, see the Lion Monument honoring 800 Swiss soldiers who protected King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 2: Zurich – Basel – Mulhouse After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, combines modernity with historical charm in a small yet treasure-filled city. During the city tour, visit the Basel Cathedral where the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus is buried, the main square Marktplatz, the Town Hall, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. Afterward, those who wish can join an optional tour of the charming Alsace villages: Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Colmar, and Eguisheim, costing 100 Euros. The first stop is Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most captivating towns, known for its many half-timbered houses that give the town its unique allure. The town’s brightly colored houses, narrow streets, medieval walls, and the relics of Riquewihr Castle create a fairy-tale atmosphere. During the tour, enjoy a walk along the ancient city walls and visit the castle ruins. Then, continue to Kaysersberg, a medieval village famous for its colorful houses, narrow alleys, and the Château de Kaysersberg castle from the 13th century. The Sainte-Croix Church, with its Gothic architecture, is also worth seeing. Afterwards, head to Colmar, known for well-preserved medieval streets, the pink stone-built Saint Martin’s Cathedral, the Little Venice with its canals reminiscent of Italy's Venice, the Maison Pfister, and the Renaissance Maison des Têtes. The last stop is Eguisheim, declared "Favorite French Village" in 2013, a picturesque village where traditional Alsace architecture, colorful houses, and scenic landscapes create a storybook setting. After the tour, transfer to Mulhouse or nearby hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 3: Mulhouse – Bern – Geneva Following breakfast, depart for Bern, the capital of Switzerland. The city’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic center features medieval streets, stone buildings, arcaded passages, and fountains, offering a magical atmosphere. During the tour, see the Clock Tower, Old Town, Einstein’s House, the Museum of History, Parliament House, and Parliament Square. Afterwards, we continue to Geneva. One of Switzerland's most cosmopolitan cities, Geneva lies on the shores of Lake Geneva, near the French border. It is a major diplomatic hub, hosting the United Nations European Office, Red Cross, and many other international organizations. In the city tour, visit Lake Geneva, the Mont Blanc Bridge, the Cathedral of St. Pierre, the United Nations headquarters, and the Red Cross building, as well as the Old Town. Those who wish can join an optional tour to Lausanne, Ouchy, Montreux, and Chillon Castle, costing 80 Euros. This tour begins with Lausanne, a city on Lake Geneva with historical significance. See the Lausanne Cathedral, the Old Town (Vielle Ville), and the modern shopping and entertainment district. Then, proceed to Ouchy, a peaceful lakeside area that was once a fishing village and has become part of Lausanne since the mid-19th century. Its attractions include Château d’Ouchy and Ouchy Port. Next, visit Montreux, known for its serene atmosphere, mountain views, and lakeside walking paths. Here, see Chillon Castle from the outside, the statue of Freddie Mercury, and the Montreux Port. After the tour, transfer to our hotel for overnight stay. Day 4: Geneva – Istanbul After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport at the time specified by the guide. Complete luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, then depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1920 at 19:00. Arrive in Istanbul at 23:15 local time, marking the end of our tour.
