Cruise ships are equipped with the latest technology, and we can liken them to floating deluxe hotels. You can follow the daily activities scheduled each day through the ship's newspaper, which is distributed to your cabin every evening. This bulletin contains all information about the day's events, weather conditions, port visits, reservations for special restaurants or spa, and other details to keep you informed about what will happen onboard that day. The most common language on the ship is English. If you are on a guided tour in Turkish, our guide will assist you with information about ship bulletins, restaurant menus, and other topics, and will prepare special bulletins for you.
When boarding the ship, you need to complete your luggage, passport delivery, and credit card information (a deposit process will be done for possible expenses) at the check-in desk located at the entrance of the ship. Your passport will be handed to you at the beginning of the trip and will only be returned at the end of the tour. After submitting your passport to the ship, you will be issued a Boarding Card by the ship. This card functions as your passport, cabin key, and for all transactions on the ship. The Boarding Card contains your name and surname, cabin number, meal session details, and other relevant information.
There is a dress code for passengers on the cruise ship. Since there are special events like the captain's welcome dinner and gala night, it is recommended to bring elegant and formal clothes. You can follow these events, including the gala night and welcome dinner, via the ship's bulletin, which also specifies the dress code.
Cruise ships have restaurants open for 20 hours a day, where you can eat something at any time. In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner included in your fee at the main restaurant, there are also fast food outlets and buffets. The ship also has special concept restaurants such as Thai restaurants, steak houses, etc. You can make reservations beforehand and enjoy dishes prepared by talented chefs. Thematic restaurants are subject to an extra fee.
There are many facilities and activities onboard for families with children. The ship has children's pools and play clubs where kids can spend their time comfortably.
Cruise ships are designed by engineers to withstand all the rocking during travel, and ship captains are specially trained. Smoking is prohibited in all interior areas including your cabin. Smoking outside on the deck is not restricted; you may smoke in places where there are signs and ashtrays. There are doctors and nurses onboard. The ships also have accessible cabins for disabled passengers.
