Tour details

Day 1                Istanbul – Bologna – Rome

We meet in front of Turkish Airlines check-in counter at Istanbul Airport International Departure Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, we proceed with our scheduled flight to Rome. Upon arrival, we transfer by our private bus to start our panoramic Rome city tour. We will see sites including Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, St. Mark's Square and the monument of Vittorio Emanuele II, the Colosseum which hosted gladiator battles, the Trevi Fountain made famous by the movie Life is Beautiful, the 135-step Spanish Steps, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. After the tour, transfer to our hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

 

Day 2                Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests wishing to participate in an optional tour organized by our guide can join the Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (cost per person: 80€). We will visit the natural beauty area where Popes stayed during the summer, including the Nemi village famous for its wild strawberries, then have free time for shopping at the famous Castel Romano Outlet. Afterwards, we will head to St. Peter's Square, the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time for visiting the Basilica and Square. Guests wishing can join the optional Rome by Night Tour (cost per person: 35€). Return to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3                Rome – Florence

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests wishing to join an optional Orvieto Tour (cost per person: 35€) can participate along the route. In Orvieto, a city rich in history and natural beauty, we will visit the ancient city center and the Orvieto Cathedral before heading to Florence. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a panoramic Florence city tour. The tour includes the Arno River which divides Florence, the Ponte Vecchio bridge known for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio home of the Medici family, the Piazza della Signoria with the famous Hercules and David statues, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its high dome, and the Baptistery. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini for check-in and overnight stay.

 

Day 4                Florence

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests wishing to participate in an optional Pisa & Portofino Tour (cost per person: 110€) can join. The tour includes the Pisa Tower and the Square of Miracles, and after sighting these, a boat trip to the famous Portofino fishing village, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will be captivated by this small town within the national park. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 5                Florence – Venice

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests wishing to join an optional Bologna Tour (cost per person: 35€) can participate. The tour covers Bologna’s main square Piazza Maggiore, the Neptune Fountain behind it, the Old Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, Quadrilatero (an old market), and the iconic Towers of Garisenda and Asinelli. After the tour, we proceed to Venice. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic city tour including St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace, the Clock and Bell Towers, and Giorgio Maggiore Church. Free time follows. Guests also have the option to join the gondola ride (cost per person: 40€). Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

 

Day 6               Venice – Bologna – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, depending on flight times, we transfer to Bologna Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart with our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour and services conclude.
