Day 1               ISTANBUL – TUNIS – NABEUL – HAMMAMET

We meet three hours before departure at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul New Airport. After baggage, ticket, and check-in procedures, our flight to Tunis with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight begins. Upon arriving at Tunis airport, we transfer to our waiting private bus and proceed for a city tour. During the city tour, you will feel like you're in France as you explore Bourguiba Avenue, the Aziz Vincent de Paul Cathedral built in the 19th century, the statue of Ibn Khaldun, one of the famous Arab scholars of the Middle Ages, and the clock tower which is considered a symbol of Tunis. Then, we depart for Nabeul for a cultural tour. In Nabeul, known as the capital of ceramic and pottery art, we walk through the city's mystical streets and see many traditional objects unique to Tunisia such as brassware, leather goods, embroidery, and woven baskets. Then, we head towards Hammamet, often called Tunisia’s Saint-Tropez, built on the seaside with magnificent terraces offering stunning views. In Hammamet, you will see long, clean beaches, turquoise sea, beautiful parks, lush gardens, castle walls, streets, and the Great Mosque which has preserved the city’s rich history. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Day 2            HAMMAMET

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Kairouan & El Jem & Monastir. Our first stop is Kairouan. We visit the Great Okba Ibn Nefaa Mosque, considered the ancestor of all mosques in the Maghreb region and one of the most important Islamic monuments. This architecturally stunning structure is also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also visit the Aghlabid Basin and the tomb of Sidi Sahbi. Next, we move to El Jem. The amphitheater here is among the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world. Built in the third century AD (around 230-240 AD), this monumental amphitheater is the largest Roman monument in Africa and ranks third among all Roman amphitheaters after those in Rome and Verona. Built during the Roman period, it is an advanced version of the Colosseum. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel for leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3            HAMMAMET

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tunis & Carthage & Bardo Museum. Our first stop is the ancient city of Carthage. Founded by the Phoenicians and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this ancient city showcases 3,000 years of history with ruins from the Roman, Byzantine, and Crusader periods, including famous Carthaginian general Hannibal. The city is rich in thermal baths, temples, and walls embodying its deep history. Next, we visit the Bardo Museum, known for its extensive collection of Roman mosaics and other artifacts. Each mosaic's complex design and vibrant colors tell unique stories from Tunisia’s diverse past. Afterward, we head to the historic medina of Tunis, also called Old Tunis. We explore its narrow streets, gift shops, and bustling souks, including the famous Souk El Attarine, specializing in perfumes and spices. We also visit Place de la Kasbah, the historic Tunis Square, and the Zaytuna Mosque. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel for free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
