Day 1 ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN
We meet at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at the departures terminal three hours prior to departure. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our Bergamo flight with AJet Airways scheduled departure, we proceed to Milan with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. We start our program with a city tour of Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also renowned for its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless artworks. Although Italy’s business and financial center, Milan is also the right address for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences. We will see the famous opera house La Scala, Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral, the shopping street La Galleria, which hosts many renowned brands, and Porta Romana, and then there will be free time. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Milan for rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 2 MILAN – VENICE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. On the way, we’ll take a photo break at Peschiera della Garda with views of Lake Garda. During our Venice tour, a narration will be provided on Vaporetto, and we will see primary iconic sites such as St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, symbolizing grandeur and power, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Venice for check-in and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3 VENICE – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Florence. In the city tour, we see the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, Florence. We will observe the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with its orange dome that captures attention immediately. One of the most notable features of the cathedral is the bronze doors (Johannes Gate - the gate of paradise), which depict biblical and prophet stories recognized in the Quran. Then, we visit Giotto’s Campanile, used in the past to summon the people to parliament, the famous Piazza della Signoria with Michelangelo’s David sculpture, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), known for antique and jewelry shops. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Florence and have free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 FLORENCE – PORTOFINO – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast, we move to Portofino, which has gained fame with songs like “I Found My Love in Portofino.” According to Roman author Pliny, the name derives from the abundance of dolphins that surround the bay, originally called Portus Delphini, evolving into Portofino. This charming fishing village draws attention with its narrow streets, colorful houses, and various seafood dishes. We will take a boat tour in Portofino. Afterwards, we head to Pisa, famous worldwide for its historical Leaning Tower. During the evening panoramic tour, we will visit Pisa Tower, cathedral, baptistery, and Miracles Square, and visitors may take photos at their leisure. Afterward, we transfer back to our hotel in Florence and relax. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 5 FLORENCE – SAN GIMIGNANO – PIENZA – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for San Gimignano. Here, you will feel like stepping back to the Middle Ages, with the 13 towers built in the 12th and 13th centuries by rival noble families and the Cistern Square. Then, we travel to Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage site and considered an excellent example of Renaissance urban planning, known as the “ideal city,” rebuilt to uphold that concept. In Pienza, the birthplace of Pope Pius II, we see Pienza Cathedral, Palazzo Piccolomini, and enjoy the views of Val d’Orcia. After free time, we transfer to Rome. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 6 ROME – VATICAN (St. Peter’s Square)
After breakfast, we head to the Vatican City, considered the center of Christianity, and visit St. Peter’s Square. We have free time to explore the Basilica and Square. Then, we proceed with the Roman city tour, visiting Castel Sant’Angelo where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the public, Vittorio Emanuele II Memorial, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain from the movie “La Dolce Vita,” the Spanish Steps with 135 steps, and the famous submerged boat fountain. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Rome for rest.
Day 7 ROME – CASTEL GONDOLFO & NEMI LAKE & ALBANO LAKE – OUTLET – ROME
After breakfast, we depart for Castel Gandolfo region. Known as Nemi Village, this area features colorful houses with flowers, cobblestone streets, and charming shops selling famous fresh strawberries, offering a fairy-tale atmosphere with stunning lake views. We visit Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence, and continue our walk through the town. Once a summer retreat for many Roman emperors, this remarkable town has a rich history. Afterwards, we head for outlet shopping. Then, we transfer back to our hotel in Rome and enjoy free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 8 ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel, and at the time announced by your guide, transfer to the airport. Departure with AJet Airways to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our tour and services conclude.
