Day 1                    ISTANBUL – BASEL – FREIBURG – ALSACE We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we fly to Basel on Ajet Airlines scheduled service. Upon arrival, we depart by our private bus waiting for us at the airport for a city tour of Freiburg. During our Freiburg city tour, the small canals called “Bächle,” which run along the streets and cover the entire old town with a total length of 15.5 km; Freiburger Münster (Cathedral), with its 116-meter-high tower visible from anywhere you are in the city; Markhalle (Covered Market), a paradise of countless dishes from world cuisines that will surprise you the most; Münsterplatz, the main square; Rathausplatz, with the old and new town halls; Kaiser Joseph Street, where there are many souvenir shops, chain stores, cafés, and restaurants; and the city’s most pleasant cafés, bars, and beer gardens will be among the places we see. After visiting Gerberau, free time for shopping and lunch. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Alsace and free time to relax. Overnight at the hotel. Day 2                    ALSACE – OBERNAI – H. KÖNİGSBURG – STRASBOURG – ALSACE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart with our guests for a panoramic Obernai tour. During our tour, we visit the town of Obernai, which resembles a fairy-tale land with its flower-adorned wooden houses and cobblestone streets. Then we continue to H. Königsburg Castle. Located in the heart of the Alsace region, the jewel of Eastern France, H. Königsburg Castle is situated at an altitude of approximately 750 meters on the Alsace plain. Welcoming around 500,000 visitors a year, the castle offers its visitors not only unique views but also a glimpse into life in medieval castles. Then we depart for Strasbourg. During our tour in Strasbourg, a city on the Rhine Wine Route that reflects both French and German cultural and architectural characteristics and is famous for its Christmas markets, we will see Petite France, Cathedral Square, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Kammerzell House. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 3                    ALSACE – RIQUEWIHR – KAYSERBERG – COLMAR – ALSACE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart with our guests for a panoramic Riquewihr city tour. We visit the town of Riquewihr, a fairy-tale village with its charming and spotless streets, gingerbread-like houses, and medieval appearance. Then we continue to Kayserberg. Meaning “Emperor’s Mountain,” Kayserberg is one of the towns in Northeastern France that has best preserved its medieval atmosphere. With its medieval fortifications, half-timbered houses, and medieval churches, Kayserberg is among the most beautiful of the Alsace wine towns. Then we continue to Colmar. Upon arrival in the fairy-tale city of Colmar, the Christmas markets, the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River in the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice), will be among the places to see. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as buy plenty of souvenirs. After the tour, transfer to your hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 4                    ALSACE – BASEL – ZURICH – LUCERNE – ALSACE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart with our guests for a Basel city tour. Built around the Rhine River, the city is quite impressive with its magnificent buildings. There are five different routes to explore the center of Basel. All are named after famous figures in Basel’s history. By following Erasmus, Hans, Holbein, Jacob Burckhardt, and Paracelsus, you can travel through historical eras in the city. During our city tour, we will see the narrow streets lined with historic houses in Grossbasel (Greater Basel), the red and impressive town hall, and the cathedral square. First, entering from the Swiss border, we begin our journey to Zurich with views of the Jura Alps. In Zurich, the financial and banking capital of Switzerland, regarded as one of the most developed cities in the world in terms of quality of life, we visit the Grossmünster, Fraumünster Abbey, Opera House, the famous Bahnhofstrasse lined with luxury brand shop windows, the Limmat River running through the city, the bridges connecting the two sides of the city, and St. Peter’s Church, which has the largest clock in Europe with a diameter of 9 meters. After our Zurich tour, we head to Lucerne, where the famous poet Alexander Dumas said, “Switzerland is an oyster, and Lucerne is the pearl inside it.” Here we will see the Lion Monument (Löwendenkmal), built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family during the French Revolution, the historic Chapel Bridge over the lake where swans swim, the octagonal water tower attached to this bridge, and the breathtaking lakeside views of the city. After the tour, transfer to your hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 5                    ALSACE – BASEL – ISTANBUL After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the rooms and transfer to the airport at the time indicated by our guide. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Ajet Airlines. With our arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the tour and our services come to an end.
