Day 1 ISTANBUL – GENEVA

We meet three hours before departure at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we depart for Geneva with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we start our city tour. The places to see include Lake Leman, Mont Blanc Bridge, Cathedral of Saint Pierre, Rousseau Island, United Nations Building, and the Old Town. After the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.

Day 2 GENEVA – NYON – LAUSANNE – MONTREUX – CHILLON CASTLE

After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Lausanne. On the way, our first stop is Nyon. In this city, home to UEFA headquarters, we will see Nyon Castle, UEFA headquarters, and the Town Square. We will stop at the ancient Roman columns overlooking Lake Leman. Then, we proceed to Lausanne, which hosted the Lausanne Conferences where the foundations of our republic were laid and was the largest episcopal center of the Middle Ages. Our first stop in Lausanne is the Beau-Rivage Palace where the 1923 Peace Treaty was signed. Next, we will see the Olympic Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Palais de Rumine (Rumine Palace). After the tour, at a time determined by our guide, we will head to Montreux. Known for our rich national history, Montreux is famous for its castles, historic buildings, and natural beauty. We will explore Montreux, including the casino that inspired the song Smoke on the Water, and see a statue of Freddie Mercury, who spent his last years working there. Afterwards, we head to Geneva Lake’s small island to visit Chillon Castle, which has stood for about 1000 years and is Switzerland’s most visited historic monument. Then, we transfer to our hotel. Day 3 LAUSANNE – INTERLAKEN – BERN – BASEL

After breakfast at the hotel, we move to Interlaken, a town between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, whose fairy-tale appearance is enchanting both in summer and winter. In Interlaken, we will see Stadthausplatz, Höhematte Park, and Interlaken Castle, then free time to go up to Harder-Kulm funicular station at 1322 meters high to enjoy panoramic views of Interlaken. After this sightseeing, we set off for Bern, the official capital of the Swiss Confederation and the canton of Bern. We start our panoramic city tour with the Old Town. We will see the Clock Tower, Bern Cathedral, and the Parliament Building. We also visit the Albert Einstein Museum, where physicist Albert Einstein, a Nobel laureate, once lived and worked. After the free time, we transfer to Basel. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4 BASEL – RHEIN FALLS – ZURICH

After breakfast, we will do a city tour of Basel, Switzerland’s cultural city. The city, built around the Rhine River, has magnificent buildings and is very impressive. Several routes can be taken to explore Basel's city center, each named after famous historical figures: Erasmus, Hans Holbein, Jacob Burckhardt, and Paracelsus. During our city tour, we will see the historic houses in the Old Town, the Red and majestic Town Hall, and the Cathedral Square. Afterward, we head towards Zurich, stopping at the Rhine Falls, one of Europe’s most spectacular waterfalls. Here, you can take photos as you wish. Continuing to Zurich, we begin our panoramic city tour. Zurich, often called the Zurich Lake area, features the Opera House, Lake Zurich, the Clock Tower, Fraumünster and Grossmünster Churches, and the Old Town. After the tour, free time is given for shopping along Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s most famous shopping streets. Then, we transfer to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 ZURICH – CONSTANCE – LIECHTENSTEIN – SCHAAN – VADUZ – CHUR

After breakfast, at a time determined by our guide, we depart from Zurich towards Constance, located on the shores of Lake Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, near the Swiss border. We start our tour in Eskişehir Niederburg, exploring the medieval old town with its narrow streets, old buildings, and shops. We will see Rheintorturm (Old Town Gate), the Imperia statue with influence from papal elections, Konzilgebude (Council Building) from the 14th century, and Münster Cathedral, which took 700 years to complete starting from 1100 AD. After the tour, we proceed to the smallest of the six countries in the world, Liechtenstein. Our first stop is Schaan, the largest city in Liechtenstein with about six thousand inhabitants, where we will see sculptures panoramically. Then, we go to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, where we observe the Vaduz Castle, the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. Free time around the sculptures and street art before transferring to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6 CHUR – BERGIN EXPRESS – TRENTO – MILAN

After breakfast, we transfer from Chur to catch the Bernina Express, one of the world’s top scenic train routes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008. We will embark on an extraordinary journey through the Alps in special panoramic trains with glass ceilings. During this approximately 5-hour train ride, we will cross 197 bridges, 55 tunnels, and 32 villages, ascending from Chur at 400 meters to Alp Grüm at 2091 meters. After the train journey, we arrive in Tirano. From there, our vehicle awaits to take us to Milan for our hotel check-in.

Day 7 MILAN

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our city tour of Milan. Known as one of Europe's fashion capitals, Milan also stands out for its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless artworks. Although Italy’s business and financial hub, Milan is also famous for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences. We will see the world-renowned La Scala Opera House, Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II for shopping, and Porta Romana, with free time afterwards. Then, we transfer to our hotel in Milan to rest and relax.

Day 8 MILAN – ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and transfer to Milan airport at the time informed by your guide. We depart on a scheduled flight with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services conclude.

  • Participants agree in advance that they will participate in the tours specified in the tour program, will not disrupt the program, and in this regard, will pay the amount specified in the tour program for expenses related to local guides, museum & archaeological site entrances, city taxes, headphones or audio systems if applicable, to the tour guide or representative during the trip. Participants declare that they are fully and adequately informed on this matter.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 40 persons. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the agency will notify the final cancellation at least 21 days before the start of the tour. Canceled tours due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.
  • In cases where only category information is given without a specific name in the tour program and/or options are available for the same destination, the hotels will be announced by your agency at least 48 hours before the departure.
  • During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at locations more than the specified kilometers away or in different cities. In such cases, your agency will notify you at least 48 hours before the departure.
  • Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are designed for general introduction of cities; they are 2-3 hour tours from inside the vehicle with guide narration, not including entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. If tours cannot be conducted at the scheduled times due to local authority restrictions, closures, or weather conditions, Fly Express is not responsible. Some tours may be replaced with group transport or walking tours if roads are closed or entry is prohibited at certain points.
  • Triple rooms are subject to availability in hotels. In such rooms, the third bed is smaller than standard beds; rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 additional bed, which may be a fold-away, sofa bed, or similar. Participants in triple or child reservations accept that there may be tightness and the type of beds may vary. Child discounts are valid only for one child sharing a room with two adults and within the specified age group. No bed guarantee is provided for children aged 0-2.
  • Breakfasts included in the services are generally continental, consisting of butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, served in a separate room for groups or in the hotel restaurant.
  • Since the flights are group tickets, flight times may change. You can confirm the latest flight details with your agency. Updated times will be provided by your agency along with the tour information.
  • It is necessary to confirm the flight times before taking the internal flight. If the passenger takes the internal connection flight from a different provider independent of the agency and the trip is canceled or times change, the passenger cannot request a refund from the agency. The passenger accepts that any financial or non-financial losses that may occur due to changes or cancellations of the trip are borne by them and Fly Express is not responsible.
  • According to airline regulations, if a purchased round-trip ticket’s outbound flight is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
  • Passengers without an air ticket must be present at the start point of the tour with their own means without delay. Otherwise, they will need to arrange all transfers at their own expense.
  • Participants must be at the designated airport at the specified time, and check-in and boarding procedures must be completed timely. Fly Express is not responsible for passengers who fail to check-in or board on time or miss their flight. Passengers who miss their flight will be responsible for obtaining new tickets and paying all related expenses for travel to the destination.
  • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports, or IDs. Fly Express is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or stolen items. If unclaimed items are found, delivering them to the country or individual is not guaranteed, and any costs involved are the responsibility of the owner.
  • In cases of illness, theft, or similar situations, the guide’s primary responsibility is the group's integrity and continuity. Therefore, the guide may not be able to accompany passengers personally in such cases.
  • It is mandatory to provide correct passport information, including name, date of birth, and passport number, during the purchase of the tour. Tickets are issued based on this information. Incorrect information will result in ticket cancellations or penalties at your expense.
  • Some airlines may charge fees for meals or online check-in services.
  • During tours, seat numbers on buses cannot be guaranteed.
  • The times provided by our guide during tours are departure or movement times. All participants must be ready at the meeting points; the guide will move the vehicle without waiting. Late arrivals will need to arrange their own transportation to the next destination.
  • Participants agree in advance that they will participate in the tours specified in the program, will not disrupt the schedule, and will pay the amounts specified in the program for expenses such as local guides, museum & archaeological site entry fees, city taxes, headphones, or audio systems during the trip to the tour guide or representatives. Participants acknowledge that they have been fully informed about these charges.
  • Additional tours are arranged by local agencies with a minimum of 20 participants. If sufficient numbers are not met, tours cannot be conducted or prices and contents may vary depending on the number of participants and available vehicles. The days and hours of additional tours may be changed by guides depending on the opening/closing status of visited sites and weather conditions. During additional tours, different guides may accompany our guests.
  • Additional tours are optional and not mandatory in our standard packages. If guests choose not to participate, they agree to wait at the designated rest stops. They will be dropped at those points and picked up after the tour’s completion.
  • Entry fees for museums & archaeological sites included in the additional tours must be paid by guests.
  • Fly Express acts as an intermediary between passengers and airlines, and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol. Rerouting risks or schedule changes may occur in scheduled or special flights; flight times can change before or during the trip. Fly Express will inform promptly of these changes. Our guests purchase the tour with the knowledge that flight details may change.

VISA

 

  • Visa application exists for Turkish Republic citizens. The application must be made with a valid passport of at least 6 months beyond the end date of travel and with the documents listed under "Visa Required Documents".
  • Green passport holders are not subject to visa requirements; a passport valid at least 6 months beyond the travel date is sufficient.
  • The visa information specified in the program is for Turkish citizens. Guests with passports from outside Turkey should obtain visa information from the relevant consulates.
  • Having a visa does not guarantee entry into the country; border control officers can refuse entry. Fly Express is not responsible for this; responsibility lies with the passenger.
  • Worn, damaged, wet, or otherwise compromised passports may not be accepted at border crossings; passports must be renewed, and visas for other countries must be present in the new passport if needed. Responsibility for this lies with the passenger.
  • Minors under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent should carry a notarized consent letter from the other parent or guardian, as border authorities may request proof of consent during entry/exit.
