Day 2 Baku Ateshgah- Absheron- Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center
Time 03:05 Arrival in Baku and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to rooms. After breakfast, we will start our tour a little later to help you relax from your fatigue. After breakfast, we have free time. We begin the day with a visit to Ateshgah (Fire Temple), one of the three Zoroastrian Temples in the world that has survived to the present day and the most important one built in the 3rd century AD. This religious structure, resembling a fortress, has been famous for its burning fire since ancient times and was rebuilt in the 17th century by Zoroastrian pilgrims who came to the region during the active period of the Silk Road. After our visit here, we proceed to Absheron Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain) to watch the lively dance of the flames. Following this, our tour continues with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, designed by the Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid, whose construction has made waves worldwide due to its 101,000 square meters of area. The complex, representing the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology, consists of theaters and conference halls, a museum, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: On some days, the cultural center does not accept visitors. As this may not be announced in advance, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation. If it is not open, it will be viewed from outside. If it is open, entry will be allowed.) After the free time allocated to us, we transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3 Baku (Dinner with Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our Full-Day Baku City Tour. The traditional and historical features of Baku have recently been complemented by many investments, giving it a modern look. In this comprehensive tour, where you will see and learn about the most important areas of New and Old Baku, we first go to Martyrs’ Lane and then to Yayla Park. Here you will have the opportunity to take panoramic photographs of the city of Baku and Baku Bay. Afterward, we head to the Old City, also known as İçeri Şehir, which is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. During this part of our tour, you will see and learn about the historical and traditional aspects of Baku. Here and in the nearby area, we will see the Maiden Tower, built in the 12th century, the Friday Mosque dating back to the 15th century, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret and Mohammed Mosque, the world’s only Miniature Book Museum, the Shirvan Shah Palace, which is considered one of the pearls of Azerbaijani architectural history, each currently serving as the Academy of Sciences, the city center Istiklal Street, Çeşme Square, which gets its name from the historic fountain found here, Belediye Park famous for its Philharmonic Fountain, and the National Carpet and Kilim Museum are among the places we will visit. Following this, we will proceed to Baku Boulevard, where we will observe areas with many futuristic architectural works, including the world-famous Flame Towers. This area is comprised of walking paths parallel to the coastal area known as 'Little Venice', where the mansions of the oil barons were built a century ago. After the tour, we head to a local venue for Dinner with Folklore Azeri Night. We will enjoy traditional Mugham music and local delicacies at one of the city's historic venues, and after our beautiful evening, we transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 4 Baku- Shamakhi- Gabala- Sheki
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards Shamakhi. (approximately 125 km) The city, known for its significant role in the Ottoman-Safevi War and its famous wine-making and carpet weaving, holds a special place in history. Here we will visit the Old Town Center, Yeddi Gumbez Tomb, located at the foot of the Gülistan Fortress that houses the Shirvan Khan Tombs, and the Friday Mosque. Next, we continue towards Gabala, known for its natural beauty (approximately 95 km). Accompanied by the unique landscapes of the Biodiversity National Park, we will have some free time by Nohur Lake where you can replenish your energy in Gabala, which looks like heaven on earth with its mountains, forests, and waterfalls. After our pleasant break, we continue our journey to Sheki (approximately 90 km). Upon arrival, we will explore Sheki, Azerbaijan's oldest, most authentic, and beautiful city. Known for its mild-mannered people and unique culture and cuisine, this classical mountain city features the Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserais, a part of which is currently used as a hotel, cobbled streets with historic stone and wooden buildings, the magnificent Palace of the Khans, an important member of UNESCO World Heritage List, Sheki Fortress consisting of Sheki Khan Palace, built especially for the relatives of the khans and the significant religious buildings such as Han and Friday Mosques. During our free time at the bazaar, you can taste the famous Azeri Tea with Sheki Halva and purchase many handicraft artworks, especially beautiful silk products. At the end of our tour, we transfer to our hotel and check into rooms. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 5 Sheki- Bodbe Monastery- Signaghi- Tbilisi
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we head towards the Azerbaijan/Georgia Border. (approximately 90 km) Due to regulations, a vehicle change will take place at the border. After necessary procedures, we continue to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia, known for its architecture and surrounding nature (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we make our way to Siggnaghi, “The City of Love”. (approximately 15 km). This charming place is a complete tourist attraction with its natural beauties and restored lovely stone buildings. During our tour here, we will see the Signaghi Fortress, known as the 'Georgia Wall' with walls stretching over 4 km offering splendid views of the nature, the George Church known for its architecture and beautiful surroundings, the well-preserved historic center composed of quaint and tidy buildings, and the 'Doctor on the Donkey' statue symbolizing a local doctor well-loved for assisting villagers during his time. During our visit, we will enjoy a panoramic view from several points including Kakheti panorama viewpoint and Signagi panorama viewpoint with special electric vehicles. In the free time afterwards, guests can explore this delightful town freely, shop, and have lunch. We then depart towards Tbilisi (approximately 10 km), and upon arrival, we check into our rooms. Day 6 Tbilisi (Dinner with Caucasian Night)
After breakfast, we begin our Full-Day Tbilisi Tour. In this beautiful city that always surprises visitors, we will first see the Narikala Fortress, Peace Bridge, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnographic Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, City Hall, Rustaveli National Theatre, Viceroy's Palace, Georgia National Bank, Mtatsminda Hill, Mother Georgia Monument, the main square of the city, Liberty Square, the Parliament Building, rich with the country’s historical treasures Archaeology Museum, the Fine Arts Museum housing over 3500 works, replica of Samtavisi Cathedral built in the 11th century called Kashueti St George Church, and the Georgia National Museum, as well as the Opera and Ballet Theatre, well-known for its statues and hosting temporary exhibitions MoMa Museum, Historical Books Museum centered around ancient books and manuscripts, and the Fine Arts Academy known for its Mirror Hall. We will also have a panoramic view of the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, currently the largest religious building in Georgia, the Statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali known as the 'Horseman King' located at Metekhi Hill, and the historic Metekhi Church of the Virgin Mary which dates back to 455 AD. Following this, we will begin our walking tour to Flower Market and Covered Market, along with Orbeliani Park, which has become a popular spot due to the restoration of 13 significant heritage buildings Atoneli Street, and Gabriadze Neighborhood are places we will see. We will also see European Square, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari Region, Georgia Patriarchate, and Sioni Cathedral. Afterward, we’ll visit the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theatre and Angel Clock Tower, Anchiskati Basilica, Jan Shardeni Street. During our free time in this lovely square, you will have a chance to taste local delicacies in authentic cafes. We proceed to the Fortress Area where the Narikala is also located. A short cable car ride takes us to the top to see the Statue of Kartvlis Deda – the Mother of Georgia Monument, which was built in 1958 to celebrate Georgia's 1500th birthday. Here, you can capture panoramic photos of the city. We will return to the city by cable car and then head to the historic Abanotubani, known for its ancient sulfur baths that have existed since the 4th century BC. We will also see the historic Friday Mosque, built in 1724 by the Ottomans, also known as the 'Double Mihrab' and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We’ll head down using the famous Spinning Staircase and cross the Bridge of Love to have some free time at the Underground Market located in the heart of the city. Afterwards, we will visit a venue where you can also watch breathtaking Caucasian folklore performances, and we will have a menu made up of Georgian delicacies. At the end of this wonderful day, we will transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 7 Tbilisi- Chronology Monument- Gori- Uplistsikhe- Jvara- Mtskheta- Tbilisi
After breakfast, we will have some free time to rest. At the time determined by our guide, we will check out of the rooms and depart. A short journey takes us to the Georgia Chronology Monument. (Approximately 15 km) Located on Keeni Hill, this monument, which began construction in 1985 but has never been completed due to the continuous addition of current significant events, is a truly unique work with very few counterparts in the world. After this, we continue towards Gori. (approximately 85 km) Upon arrival, we will visit the Stalin Museum, which features numerous items and photos from the era of Joseph Stalin, who transformed the Soviet Union into an industrial and military power. After our visit in Gori, we will have free time to explore this charming city at your leisure. Next, we will head to Uplistsikhe, a town reminiscent of Cappadocia, known for houses carved into caves. (approximately 15 km) Our next stop will be Jvari (approximately 65 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 6th century at a high point overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Kura Rivers, considered one of Georgia's most important historical and religious treasures. With its architectural beauty and breathtaking views, the monastery has played a central role in important historical events. After our visit here, we head to Mtskheta, known as 'The UNESCO City', which was the former capital of Georgia (approximately 20 km). In this ancient city, we will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most sacred religious sites in Georgia. During our free time, we advise you to complete your purchases of world-famous Georgian wines and other souvenirs, and freely explore this storybook town. Before transferring to the airport, we recommend enjoying dinner at one of the nice restaurants located here. We will transfer to Tbilisi Airport at the time set by our guide. (approximately 50 km)
Day 8 Tbilisi- Istanbul
