Tour Program
Day 1 Bursa – Kavala
On the first day of our tour, we leave Bursa Nilüfer Migros at 17:30 and arrive at the İpsala border gate via Tekirdağ. After completing passport and customs procedures, we arrive in Kavala via Dedeağaç, Gümülcine, and İskeçe.
Day 2 Kavala – Thessaloniki – Bitola (Monastir) – Resne – Ohrid
After arriving in Kavala, we take a break to enjoy a delicious Kavala cookie after breakfast. After the breakfast break, we take a short photo break at the beautiful Kavala beaches and proceed to Thessaloniki. Upon our arrival in Thessaloniki, we start our panoramic city tour.During our panoramic city tour, we will see the Waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair, Thessaloniki Fortress, Ottoman and Byzantine artifacts. After visiting the house of the Great Leader Atatürk, which is currently located in the garden of the Turkish consulate, we head to Bitola. Upon our arrival, the emotional highlights will include the Şirok Street, the Bazaar, İshak Mosque, the New Mosque, and the Military Academy where Atatürk graduated. After our visit to Bitola, we arrive in Ohrid, known as the pearl of the Balkans, via Resne, where Resneli Niyazi was from. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3 Ohrid – Sveti Naum- Tetova (Kalkandelen) – Skopje
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue over the Mavrovo mountains and move towards Ohrid, which is known for its unique beauty for a tour. We start our tour with the Liman square, talking about the statues we will see, and during the walk in the historical neighborhood where Elveda Rumeli series was filmed, we complete our tour with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl and historical Ottoman houses, including the Ayasofya church, which is the biggest symbol of Ohrid city. Guests may participate in an optional boat activity on Ohrid Lake, arranged by our guide (15EUR). After our tour, we proceed to St. Naum, which is the source of Lake Ohrid and offers magnificent views. After the tour, we begin our journey to the capital Skopje. On our route, we visit Tetova (Kalkandelen), which has the third largest city in the country and is known for its high Albanian population. We will visit the Alaca Mosque and the Imaret that were established by two sisters. We start our tour of the city, where two distinct cultures are divided by the famous Vardar River, beginning with the Makedonian side known as the statue land, where we will see the remarkably massive statue of Alexander the Great. We will cross the historical Stone Bridge over the Vardar River and move directly to the Üsküp Turkish Bazaar, where we will begin the shopping spree. We will start our market tour by telling about the statues we find at the bazaar entry followed by the historical Davut Pasha bathhouse, then we visit Kapan Han, one of the most significant structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and the Murat Pasha Mosque, which has survived the earthquakes. After our visits, there will be an hour of free time for shopping at the Turkish Bazaar. Things we can buy include Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and traditional shoes. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Afterwards, dinner with local specialties and music entertainment during the Macedonian Night at designated location by the guide. (INCLUDED IN PRICE!!!!) Overnight at our hotel.

Day 4 Skopje – Prizren – Shkodra or Podgorica
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the famous Matka Canyon (INCLUDED IN PRICE!!!). Afterward, we will head to the capital of Kosovo, Pristina. Upon crossing the Kosovo border, we will pass through Kosova Basin, where the Kosovo War took place, and visit the I.Sultan Murat Hüdavendigar Tomb followed by our journey towards Prizren. Arrival in Prizren. A tour of Prizren, the most authentic city where the Turkish population is most concentrated, taking into account its incomparable beauty. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Castle. After our visits, we will have free time for lunch. After gathering, we will cross into Albania to continue on our way to Podgorica. Passing through the city of Shkodra, we will journey to Montenegro, one of the newest states in Europe. After crossing the border, we will arrive at our accommodation point. Check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Podgorica – Budva – Kotor – Dubrovnik – Trebinje or Surroundings
After breakfast, our first stop is to see the amazing St Stefan, which is known for being a holiday destination for the social elite and is located in an area previously inhabited by fishermen. (Depending on parking availability) We will continue on the spectacular roads along the Adriatic coast towards Kotor, located within the Kotor Bay. In Kotor we will see the Old Town, the Saint Tripun and Nikola Churches, and the historical Clock Tower among others. After visiting Kotor, we continue onward, crossing into Croatia known for its Mediterranean culture closer to the Adriatic coast with its Italian-Akdeniz style. After a scenic transfer, we will arrive in Dubrovnik, known as the ancient trade port of the Adriatic with its architecture influenced by Venice. Our tour starts at the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Old City Square. We will see the city walls and towers, the St. Blaise Church, the Duke's Palace, the statue of poet Gundulic, a historic fountain, and a pharmacy from the 14th century. Then we will have free time to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the city.

Day 6 Trebinje or (Neum) - Blagay – Mostar – Sarajevo
After our breakfast, we will move to Mostar. Before arriving in Mostar, we will have a tour of Blagay Tekke (INCLUDED IN PRICE!!!). Upon arrival in Mostar, we will start our city tour on foot, first seeing the Mostar Bridge (an architectural masterpiece built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557). The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but thanks to the contributions of the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened in 2004. We will explore the old town bazaar.. After shopping at the local markets of Mostar, we will proceed to Sarajevo. After our arrival, we will perform a panoramic city tour of Sarajevo, which has served as the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries, and was the site from which World War I began after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914. Sarajevo was severely damaged by the war between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks in 1992, but has largely retained its beauty. We will stroll through the most distinguished bazaar in Europe known as Bašarčija. Our tour will begin at the Sebilj Fountain, a symbol of the city, and we will then see the Morica Han, one of the most authentic points of the city. Next, we will visit the Hüsrev Bey Mosque, a relative of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent. During your tour, you will see the Clock Tower, the memorial monument known as the Eternal Flame, and the street where you can take pictures of the Latin Bridge, where World War I began during your free time. After our tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel.

Next, we will visit the Belgrade Fortress, where the Ottomans built a fortress in honor of the conquest of the city. We will see the Key Monument, the French Statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Sokullu Fountain and the best view of the meeting point of the Danube and Sava rivers. Guests may choose to participate in a boat activity on the Danube and Sava rivers organized by the guide (20 EUR). After the tour, there is free time. Followed by check-in at the hotel in Belgrade.

We will wait for a panoramic view of the Sofia Statue next to the parliamentary building and then we will visit the city’s symbol, the Banya Başı Mosque. After our visits and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Later, dinner with local specialties and entertainment during the Bulgarian Night at designated location by the guide. - Guests participating in the tour are required to hold a valid Multi (Multiple Entry) Schengen visa throughout the tour duration. (Green Passport holders are exempt from the visa requirement.)
- It is sufficient to have Euros with us for shopping and spending in all countries included in the tour program. The guide will assist with currency exchange in regions using local currencies.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is also advisable to have a sweater or similar clothing for the evening.
- In our tours, rotation (seat changing) is applied in seat planning on a daily basis, and fixed seats and front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- There is a minimum 3-day accommodation requirement for bringing items (alcohol - cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad.
- The duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad are as follows:
Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drink (excluding drinks containing more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverage (including drinks containing less than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
- The guides can make changes to the program flow, provided that they show all the places specified in the program, depending on weather and road conditions.
- Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days prior to the tour date. In the case of cancellation less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty will be applied; for cancellations 20 days or less before the tour date, a 100% penalty will be applied. Documents such as hospital reports, work permission letters, etc., provided together with the cancellation request will unfortunately not be accepted for the cancellation of hotels and services they will receive outside of Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If there is insufficient participation for the trip, the last cancellation notification date will be 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel.
- In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or where options are available for the same destination, the hotels will be notified by Viyatravel 2 days before the trip.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such cases, information will be provided by Viyatravel 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Triple rooms can be assigned according to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of folding and coach beds, the tour participants declare that they accept the possible cramped conditions and bed types in the rooms for reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts are valid for a single child of the appropriate age group staying with 2 adults.
- The services included in the tour program include breakfast at the hotel, which is usually served as a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, in line with the breakfast culture of the country being visited, and it may be served in a separate hall designated for groups.
- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are made from inside the vehicle with a guide narration, not including museum or archaeological site entrance fees, and last no more than 2-3 hours. If such panoramic tours cannot take place due to local authorities not permitting entry, closed roads due to any event, or due to inclement weather conditions rendering the tour impossible, Viyatravel will not be held responsible. Some tours may need to be done using public transport or on foot where there are closed roads or locations where vehicle access is not permitted.
- During travel, waiting times at border crossing checkpoints may exceed standard durations, and Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting periods.
- Extra tours organized by the local Viyatravel require a minimum of 20 participants. If sufficient numbers are not met, the tours may not be conducted, or the prices, content, and transportation for extra tours may vary according to the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide based on the open/closed status of the museums and archaeological sites and weather conditions.
- Participation in extra tours is subject to the participant's desire and is not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours held during the tour accept to wait at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a rest facility along the route before the extra tour starts and will be picked up from where they were dropped off after the tour is completed.
- For travelers participating in air tours, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities that must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airports or online via the airline's websites prior to the flight.
- Viyatravel is not responsible for those who are not present at the specified airport at the times indicated by Viyatravel for participation in the tour, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete these procedures on time but do not board the plane. Those who miss the flight will be responsible for the costs of new round-trip flight tickets and any transfer expenses required at the destination.
- Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be delays with scheduled and charter flights, or flight times may change before the current tour and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of time changes when purchasing the tour. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and service fees.
- The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified according to the number of passengers as follows: Buses (used for 25 - 46 passengers) *Mercedes Travego/Tourismo *NEOPLAN Cityliner/Tourliner *Temsa Safir/Maraton *Man Fortuna Midibuses (used for 17 - 24 passengers) *Isuzu Turkuaz, *Otokar Mega Minibuses (used for up to 16 passengers) *Vw Volt, *Mercedes Sprinter.
- All guests are considered to have accepted the tour conditions as stated above upon booking the tour.
