Day 1. ISTANBUL – AMSTERDAM, May 25, 2026 / Monday
Meet in front of Turkish Airlines counters at Istanbul Airport, International Terminal, at the designated time, then check-in and passport procedures will be completed before Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to Amsterdam. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, after a panoramic city tour with our waiting vehicle, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join an Extra Canal Tour. After the tour, transfer to our ship and complete check-in procedures. Our ship will be docked in Amsterdam port tonight.

Day 2. AMSTERDAM – ARNHEM, May 26, 2026 / Tuesday    
After an early morning breakfast, our private vehicle will depart for our Extra Zaanse Schans Windmills & Volendam tour. Starting from Amsterdam port, we head north to the iconic Zaanse region, famous for its windmills featured on all postcards, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. These windmills still function today; during our visit inside the windmills, you can explore them (additional fee) and take beautiful photos. After Zaanse, we head to the town of Volendam, stopping at a local cheese farm to taste and buy traditional Dutch Gouda cheese. Volendam is undoubtedly one of the most visited Dutch villages by tourists, where you can buy inexpensive souvenirs and try the famous Herring fish or Fish & Chips. Our ship departs from the port at 22:00 in the evening.

Day 3. ARNHEM, May 27, 2026 / Wednesday
Our ship docks at Arnhem port at 06:30 in the morning. After our Extra Arnhem City and Giethoorn tour, there will be free time. In the Giethoorn tour, you will experience a fairy-tale town reminiscent of hobbit villages from Lord of the Rings, with houses, canals, small bridges, and farmhouses, known as the 'Venice of the North'. A beautiful day will be spent enjoying stunning views. Our ship departs from Arnhem at 15:30 in the afternoon.

Day 4. COLOGNE, May 28, 2026 / Thursday   
Our ship docks at Cologne port at 09:00 in the morning. After our Extra Cologne and Bonn city tour, free time. Leaving the ship at Cologne Rhine port, we take our private bus to tour this medieval city, known for its Gothic Cologne Cathedral, old town square, shopping streets, Roman ruins, and churches, where you can buy Cologne souvenirs. Afterwards, we visit Bonn, former capital of Germany for many years, home to numerous important museums. The city’s square and main streets are filled with art and architecture from various eras, including works by renowned German artists. Notably, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous pianist and composer Ludwig Van Beethoven was born in Bonn. Our ship departs from Cologne at 21:30 in the evening.

Day 5. KOBLENZ - ROMANTIC RHINE PASSAGE - RÜDESHEIM, May 29, 2026 / Friday        
At 07:30, we will dock at Koblenz port. Guests can join an optional tour to Cochem and Reichsburg Castle, located on the Moselle River, near Koblenz. Our ship departs from Koblenz at 13:30. At 14:00, we begin the enchanting Romantic Rhine Passage, which showcases over twenty medieval castles and breathtaking scenery along the Rhine River. The night will be spent overnight at Rüdesheim port, arriving around 20:30.

Day 6. MANNHEIM - SPEYER, May 30, 2026 / Saturday  
Our ship docks in Mannheim at 13:00. There is an Extra Mannheim Tour & Heidelberg Castle Tour. After a short panoramic tour of Mannheim, known as the 'City of Squares' (Quadratestadt), we head 20 km to Heidelberg, home to Germany’s oldest university. In Heidelberg, we see the romantic city (Wege der Romantik), known for Neckar River, the castle, and picturesque views, with many students living here. Heidelberg is also famous for its printing press and printing technologies. The sights include Heidelberg Castle, the Grosses Fass wine barrel, Old Bridge (Alte Brücke), and Holy Spirit Church. Those not participating in the tour should remain onboard during the departure to Speyer. The ship will berth at Speyer port at 17:30 and will depart at 23:30 heading to Strasbourg.

Day 7. STRASBOURG, May 31, 2026 / Sunday    
Arriving at Strasbourg port at 12:30, guests can join an optional Strasbourg City & Colmar Tour. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1988, Strasbourg hosts the European Court of Human Rights, European Parliament, and other institutions. We visit the courthouse for photos, then begin a walking tour of historic sites including Notre Dame Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kammerzell House, shopping streets, and Kleber Square. Afterwards, we travel 60 km to Colmar, regarded as the jewel of Alsace, for a walking tour. We see the Statue of Liberty’s sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi’s works, the Little Venice district, and the elegant Alsace architecture. Guests have free time in the city center before our ship will be docked overnight in Strasbourg port.

Day 8. STRASBOURG – BASEL – ISTANBUL, June 1, 2026 / Monday   
After breakfast, disembarkation is conducted. We will then transfer to Basel. After a panoramic city tour and free time, we will transfer to Basel Airport. After check-in and passport control, Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight will take us back to Istanbul Airport. Upon arrival, our tour concludes.

Need to Know
Information You Should Know About Our River Cruises; - There is no minimum participation requirement for our tour. Our tour departs definitively and is conducted with a Turkish-speaking guide. - Guests with a Ordinary (Brown) Passport require a visa (Multiple Schengen). - Guests with Green Passport and Service Passport do not need a visa. - Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of travel and not older than 10 years. - Obtaining cash in Euro before travel will facilitate your shopping and cash payments. - For purchases over 100 Euro, you can request a tax refund form. This form can be used for tax refund processing at the last point of exit from the European Union after customs procedures. - There are no doctors or medical personnel on the ships. In emergencies, reception calls healthcare teams from the nearest health facilities within a very short time. However, in any health-related matter, our ship will stop at the nearest medical institution and assist passengers who become ill to be transferred promptly to hospitals or similar institutions. We also recommend carrying your prescription medication and obtaining a travel health insurance. - The health services provided on the ship and in health facilities are chargeable. - We do not expect health-threatening issues during meals on board. Nonetheless, avoid consuming bottled water, ice, milk, and dairy products when not on the ship, ensure that meat and fish are well cooked, and prefer peeled fruits like bananas and pineapples. - As you may enter different countries during your trip, the schedule of port calls will be specified. Disembarkation and embarkation will be according to the local times of the respective ports. - During navigation on river cruises, especially when crossing countries, your mobile phone will be in use with international roaming if the international service is active. Signal may be lost in forested areas due to lack of coverage. - For the Captain’s Welcome & Farewell Cocktail evenings, male guests are advised to bring a suit, and female guests a formal evening dress. For the summer season, suitable clothing includes T-shirts, short and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket or sweater for evenings. Triple rooms are available depending on hotel availability; the third bed may be smaller than standard beds. The third bed in triple rooms typically consists of one large bed and an fold-out or coach bed, which should be accepted in reservations for children and third persons. - About our technical information: - The schedule times are provided by Turkish Airlines and Amadeus Cruise. Otto Cruise is not responsible for any changes. We may adjust the program dates accordingly. - The durations, attractions, and order of port tours are determined by the operator and may change or be canceled. - Natural events such as rising or falling river water levels or force majeure events like strikes or inability to reach planned ports are beyond Otto Cruise’s responsibility. - Any changes to port calls, arrival, or departure times caused by such situations are not the responsibility of Otto Cruise. - During flights, each passenger is allowed one piece of carry-on luggage measuring approximately 36 cm (height) x 23 cm (width) x 56 cm (length) and one checked luggage weighing up to 20-23 kg. - One formal dinner is included during the cruise, and guests are expected to bring formal attire. - During check-in, passports are submitted for manifest and local procedures but will be returned the same day. - Guests using credit cards for onboard expenses must have their cards registered at the reception within the first five days of the trip, without charges or holds. - Flight and cruise departure times must be strictly adhered to; entry to the ship must be at least 45 minutes before departure.
