After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Cologne at 02:55 with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 902. Upon arrival at 05:20 local time, we will move to Amsterdam with our waiting vehicle. Our city tour begins upon arrival in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, neighboring Germany to the east and Belgium to the south. The places to see during our city tour include Dam Square, Central Station, National Monument, Royal Palace, Flower Market, and the Red Light District. After the tour, guests who wish can participate in an optional tour of Amsterdam’s Magnificent Canals (30 Euros). How about viewing Amsterdam and its magnificent architecture while cruising through its canals? You will have the opportunity to see Amsterdam from a different perspective while sailing through its canals, which exceed 100 km and contain 165 canals. After the tour, transportation to our hotel. Our tour begins with the village of Zaanse Schans. One of the hidden paradise villages of the Netherlands, Zaanse Schans dates back to the 17th century and is famous for its still-operating historical windmills and untouched nature. You will feel like you are wandering in an open-air museum in the beautiful village of Zaanse Schans, which has unique beauty that you won't find anywhere else in the world with its historical windmills and wooden houses. The second stop of our tour is Marken. Once an island, Marken is now connected to the mainland. After exploring this wonderful island, we proceed to Volendam. Volendam impresses anyone who sees it at first sight with its port, characteristic Dutch houses, and people in traditional costumes. Paris is beautiful both in the daytime and at night. In this tour, you will have the chance to see Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, and many other boulevards, buildings, and squares illuminated by lights. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. 5th Day: Paris After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can participate in an optional tour of the Magnificent Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Boat Tour & Montmartre Artists Hill & Sacre Coeur Basilica & Notre Dame Cathedral) (100 Euros). Our first stop will be the Eiffel Tower, a monumental symbol of the city visited by millions every year. You will have the opportunity to see Paris from above by ascending to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. Then we will take a boat tour on the Seine River, where we will see historic buildings along both banks of the river. After that, we will take the funicular to Montmartre Hill, the highest point in Paris that has traces of important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Toulouse Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent Van Gogh, and Jean Marais. Sacre Coeur (Basilica of Sacré-Cœur) will be the first sight to visit. After closely observing this structure, we take a break at Place du Tertre, where you can shop and get your portrait painted, before visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral, a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of the Paris skyline. This magnificent structure was built from 1137 to 1180 by order of King Louis VII to showcase Paris’s political, economic, and cultural power to the world. After seeing this impressive structure, we will pause for a quick photo opportunity. Following that, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. 6th Day: Paris - Reims - Metz After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards another beautiful city of France, Reims. Reims is the ancient capital of the Gallic people, and its name comes from that era, Remes. With a history tracing back to the Roman Empire and its unique Gothic architecture, Reims has been the site of many coronation ceremonies for French kings. During our tour of Reims, we will visit Reims Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site as of 1991, The Palace of Tau, Saint Remi Basilica, and La Porte de Mars. After the tour, we will continue to Metz. Metz is a charming city located in the Lorraine Region of France, between Nancy and Luxembourg. Having ranked 4th in the "Europe's Best Destination" competition held in 2019, Metz is on the temporary UNESCO World Heritage List due to its historical, cultural, and architectural features. After our tour here, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. 7th Day: Metz - Luxembourg After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Luxembourg. Upon arrival, our city tour of Luxembourg will begin. Places to see include Notre Dame Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, the City Hall, and the Constitution Square. After our tour, guests who wish may join the optional tour of Magnificent History and Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen) (55 Euros). The first stop of our tour will be Trier, which boasts the title of Germany’s oldest city, founded by Romans in the year 15 BC. Located within the Moselle Wine Region, Trier lies on the banks of the Moselle River, known for its low red sandstone hills covered with vines. During our city tour here, we will visit the Porta Nigra, the largest Roman city gate still standing north of the Alps, Roman Ruins included in the UNESCO World Heritage Area, St. Peter Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady, as well as the Basilica of Constantine and the house where Karl Marx, the father of scientific socialism, was born. After the tour in Trier, we will head towards Remich, known as the best spot for cheap shopping due to Luxembourg's low tax policies and border location, where you can buy products such as chocolate, coffee, and alcoholic beverages at very low prices. Finally, we will visit Schengen, the point where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, where the agreement allowing free movement between EU member countries was signed. In this village, one of Europe's important wine regions, you will have the chance to taste local wines and see the monument and building where the Schengen Agreement was signed. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. 8th Day: Luxembourg - Cologne - Düsseldorf - Izmir After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Cologne. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Cologne is one of Germany's major centers of transportation, culture, science, art, and commerce. During our city tour, we will see the Gothic Cathedral, the Rhine River, and shopping streets. After our tour, we will move on to Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is one of Germany's key cultural, artistic, and industrial cities, where we will visit the revolving restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, which produced many of Germany's most important thinkers, the shopping street Königsallee, and the green spaces of Hofgarten. After our tour, we will head to Düsseldorf airport. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 989 at 18:55.
