DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN / SAVONA
We meet at Istanbul Airport's international terminal at 03:30 in the morning, and then we depart for Milan on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 06:50. We arrive in Milan at local time 08:45 and transfer to Savona port where the COSTA TOSCANA ship will embark. After check-in and passport procedures, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00. Free time for shopping and personal activities after breakfast. Guests who wish may join the extra “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by our guide. We will start our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. After this visit, we will see places like the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will head to Aix en Provence, which is 40 minutes away from Marseille. Our visit will start with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, known for its Romanesque front and covered archway. Afterwards, during our pleasant walk through the old part of the city, we will see ancient inns and the Mazarin district designed by Cardinal Mazarin’s brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may participate in the extra “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. We will visit places such as La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Paseo de Gracia street with Gaudi’s houses turned into a street museum, and his main work Sagrada Familia. During our tour, we will go to Montjuic hill to take scenic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 04 DAY AT SEA
This day will be spent at sea, and our ship will offer you various alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship's open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Others may shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy the different music and entertainment shows at various bars. Various dining options will also be waiting for you all day. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 05 CAGLIARI
Our ship will dock at Cagliari port at 09:00. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Cagliari City Tour & Dolianova Wine Vineyards Tour” organized by our guide. We will depart with our private vehicle towards Dolianova, where the famous wines of Sardinia are produced. On the way, we will visit the San Pantaleo Church, which dates back to the 13th century. Afterwards, we will visit a wine cellar in the region and receive detailed information about the wine making process. Guests who wish may participate in a wine tasting. At the end of our tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 06 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at Naples port at 10:00. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Naples City Tour & Pompeii Tour” organized by our guide. Naples, the famous port of the Campania region, is one of the few European cities from ancient times that has never completely disappeared. Founded by the Greeks and expanded by the Romans, the city has been a valuable treasure for foreign invaders over the centuries. The reflections of such a past in today’s world create a noisy, high-crime, somewhat messy but incredibly worth-seeing metropolis. During this tour, while we explore the remnants of people and houses in Pompeii, buried under the ashes of Vesuvius volcano, you will experience the incredible damage nature can cause and the power of nature. Afterward, we will stop in Naples for a panoramic bus tour and see Royal Square. At the end of our tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may participate in the extra “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. This full-day tour will start with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port. After a 1 hour and 15 minutes journey, we will arrive in Rome and do a panoramic tour with our bus. The places to be seen include; Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, Circus Maximus, and Forum areas. Then we will explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. The places to be seen include; Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps where we will end our tour and take a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 08 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Genoa port at 08:30. After breakfast, we perform our disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We depart for Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting at the port. After arriving at the airport, we complete our check-in and passport procedures and then depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 20:10. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 00:10. End of our tour.
