DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN - SAVONA
Meet at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, then transfer to Turkish Airlines flight TK1873, departing at 06:50 to Milan. Arriving in Milan at 08:45 local time, we will transfer to the COSTA SMERALDA cruise ship which will depart from Savona. After checking in and completing passport procedures, you can settle into your cabins and enjoy some free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by the guides as an extra. Our tour will begin by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill in Marseille, which is an important maritime city. After this visit, we will see places like Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will travel to Aix en Provence, which is 40 minutes away from Marseille, starting with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral, a Romanesque structure dating back to the 12th century. During our pleasant walk through the historic district of the city, you will see the antique inns here and Mazarino district, designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide as an extra. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. Locations to be visited include La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street, where Gaudi’s houses have turned into a street museum, and his most iconic work, Sagrada Familia. During the tour, we will also go up Montjuic hill to take scenic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 04 IBIZA
Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can get information from our guide and enjoy swimming at the magnificent beaches of Ibiza, shopping, and dining. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 05 DAY AT SEA
This day spent at sea will offer numerous alternatives for you. Those who wish can enjoy the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas on the ship. Others can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment at numerous bars. All day long a variety of dining options will also be available for you. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized by our guide as an extra. After arriving in Palermo, we head to Cefalu, one of Sicily's most beautiful vacation spots, with medieval buildings, great for both shopping and experiencing the true spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during our tour are the cathedral remaining from the Normans and the ancient laundry. After free time, we will return to Palermo and take a city tour. Afterwards, we will visit the Monreale Monastery, where we will see a total of 6340 m2 mosaics depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. After this, we will return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide as an extra. This full-day tour begins with a 1 hour and 15 minute bus journey from Civitavecchia Port to Rome, where we will take a panoramic bus tour, with sights including Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theatre, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Afterwards, we will explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. The many places to see include Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, ending our tour with a shopping break. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 SAVONA – MILAN - ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30. After breakfast, we will complete our disembarkation procedures and thereafter leave the ship. We will transfer to Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After arriving at the airport, we will complete our check-in and passport procedures, then we will take Turkish Airlines flight TK1896, departing at 15:10 to Istanbul. Arriving at Istanbul Airport at 19:10 local time. End of our tour.
