DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN - SAVONA
We will meet at 03:30 in the International terminal of Istanbul Airport, then depart for Milan with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 06:50. After arriving in Milan at local time 08:45, we will transfer to the Savona port where our COSTA SMERALDA cruise ship will depart. After check-in and passport procedures, we will settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVANCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00 in the morning. Enjoy free time for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the extra “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provance Tour” organized by our guide. We will start our tour by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral”, which is located on a high hill. After this visit, we will see some of the other sites including Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will head to Aix en Provence, which is a 40-minute drive from Marseille. We will begin with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral from the 12th century, featuring a Romanesque facade and a vaulted pathway. During our delightful walk in the old district of the city, we will see the ancient inns and the Mazarin district designed by Cardinal Mazarino’s brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, enjoy free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the extra “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. We will visit places such as La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia Street, where Gaudi's houses have turned into a street museum, and its key work Sagrada Familia. During our tour, we will ascend Montjuic Hill to take scenic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 04 IBIZA
Our ship will dock at the port of Ibiza at 12:30 in the afternoon. After breakfast, enjoy free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can obtain information from our guide and enjoy swimming in the magnificent beaches of Ibiza, shopping, and eating. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 05 SAILING AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, and our ship will offer you many alternatives. Guests can enjoy the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who wish can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or take advantage of various music and entertainment options at the numerous bars. All day long, various dining alternatives await you. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 06 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at the port of Palermo at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, enjoy free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the extra “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we will head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Sicily. The town, with its medieval buildings, is both a place for shopping and fully experiencing the spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during our tour are the cathedral from the Normans and the ancient laundry. After free time, we will return to Palermo and take a city tour. Then, we will visit Monreale Monastery and see the mosaics that depict scenes from the Old and New Testament, totaling 6340 m2. After that, we will return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:30. After breakfast, enjoy free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can participate in the extra “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. This full-day tour will commence with our bus, which will wait for us at Civitavecchia Port, and after a 1 hour and 15-minute journey, we will arrive in Rome, where we will take a panoramic bus tour, with sights including Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Then, we will explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Highlighted places will include Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, after which we will take a shopping break. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
DAY 08 SAVONA – MILAN - ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we will complete the disembarkation procedures and afterwards, we will disembark from the ship. We will head to Milan Airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After arriving at the airport and completing check-in and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 15:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1896. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 19:10. End of our tour.
