Costa Fascinosa with Lisbon Mediterranean

Tour details
Living and Short Information About Cruise Ships Cruise ships are equipped with the latest technology and can be likened to floating deluxe hotels. You can follow the daily program of activities on the ship through the ship's newspaper, which is distributed to your room every evening before, detailing all activities, weather conditions, ports of call, reservation contact information for special restaurants or spa, and all the day's events. The most common language onboard is English. If you are on a guided program in Turkish, our tour guide will assist you with all topics from ship newsletters to restaurant menus and prepares special newsletters for our valued guests. At check-in, you will need to deliver your luggage, passport, and credit card information (a deposit will be made for possible expenses) at the check-in desk located at the entrance of the ship. Your passport will be handed over at the start of the trip and returned to you only at the end. After handing over your passport, the ship will give you a Boarding Card. This card serves as your passport, your cabin key, and is used for all transactions within the ship. The Boarding Card displays your name, cabin number, meal session preferences, and other relevant information. There is a dress code for passengers on the ship. Since there are special events like the captain's welcome dinner and gala night, it is recommended to bring stylish and formal clothes. You can follow the organization of such events and other special arrangements through the ship's newspaper, and the dress code is also specified in the newsletter. On cruise ships, there are buffet restaurants available 20 hours a day where you can eat anything at any time. In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner included in your ticket in the main restaurant, there are fast food outlets and open buffets. The ship also has private themed restaurants, such as Thai restaurants and steakhouses. You can make reservations in advance and sample dishes prepared by special chefs. These themed restaurants are charged extra. There are numerous facilities and activities for families with children on cruise ships. There are children's pools and playrooms where kids can spend their time comfortably. Cruise ships are designed by engineers to not sway during the voyage, and ship captains are trained specifically for this purpose. Smoking is prohibited in all interior areas, including your cabin. There is no specific sign restricting smoking on the open deck, and you can smoke where ashtrays are provided. There are also doctors and nurses onboard. Accessible cabins for disabled passengers are available.
