Day 1: Istanbul – Ashgabat – Beijing / Friday

Meeting at 04:00 at Istanbul Airport, followed by ticketing and boarding procedures.

Turkmenistan Airlines flight T5912 departs for Ashgabat at 07:20. Arrival at 13:10 local time after approximately a 3.5-hour flight. After changing planes, we depart for Pekin on flight T5607 at 19:45.

 

Day 2: Beijing / Saturday

Arrival at 05:05 local time after approximately a 6-hour flight.

After arriving in Beijing, we move for our lunch tour of the Great Wall of China (Juyong Pass), which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Located about 60 km from Beijing city center, the Juyongguan gate is one of the three most famous passes. A fortified stronghold surrounding a valley that provided direct access to Beijing from the north in ancient times, Juyongguan offers stunning mountain views and showcases China’s rich history and natural beauty. We return to Beijing after lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the hotel.

 

Day 3: Beijing / Sunday

Free time after breakfast.

We set off towards the famous main square, Tiananmen Square, known as the heart of Beijing. We visit the square, where Mao Zedong announced the founding of the People's Republic of China and hosted political protests known as the June Fourth Incident.

Next, we visit the Forbidden City, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is one of the largest and best-preserved imperial complexes in China, having served as the political and ceremonial center of the country for over 500 years. We witness the splendor of Chinese dynasties and the traditional palace culture.

After a local restaurant lunch, we ascend to Jingshan Hill, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the best view of the Forbidden City.

Then, we visit the Panda House at Beijing Zoo, where we get a chance to see the adorable pandas, a symbol of China. We move on to the famous shopping and pedestrian street, Wangfujing Street, offering free time for shopping and strolling. After the tour, we head to our hotel.

 

Day 4: Beijing – Xian / Monday

After breakfast, we move for the lunch tour of the Summer Palace & Historical Hutong Neighborhoods.

We start our visit at the Summer Palace, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. Initially designed as a royal garden, this magnificent complex is described by UNESCO as the "masterpiece of Chinese garden landscape". We enjoy a pleasant stroll among the lakeside temples, bridges, and walkways, experiencing the elegance of the imperial era.

Then, we explore the Hutong Neighborhoods, which preserve the traditional living fabric of Beijing. After our lunch, we move to the train station to travel to Xian.

Day 5: Xian / Tuesday

Our tour begins with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of Xian’s landmarks. Built during the Tang Dynasty, this impressive structure is one of the most important temples housing Buddhist manuscripts.

Following that, we visit the Terracotta Army Museum, considered the eighth wonder of the world. Discovered in 1974, this vast archaeological site features thousands of terracotta soldiers, chariots, and warrior statues created to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.

After a lunch at a local restaurant, we head to the colorful Muslim Neighborhood in Xian. Here, you can stroll through traditional markets, taste local snacks, and feel the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

This show brings to life Xian’s cultural past through a colorful stage performance that showcases the music, dance, and costume traditions of the Tang Dynasty, one of China’s most brilliant periods. Dances are performed with ancient Chinese musical instruments and live orchestra, reflecting the elegance and palace atmosphere of the era.

 

Day 6: Xian – Shanghai / Wednesday

After breakfast, we move to the train station for our trip from Xian to Shanghai. After our comfortable and modern high-speed train journey, we arrive in Shanghai.

Upon arrival, we embark on a brief city tour with lunch. We watch the iconic Shanghai skyline at The Bund (Waitan), where historic colonial buildings meet modern skyscrapers across the river. Following this, we stroll along Nanjing Road, the city’s most famous shopping and walking street.

Day 7: Shanghai / Thursday

After breakfast, guests who wish can join an extra lunch tour of Shanghai City. (85 USD)

• We begin our tour with a visit to the Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar, one of the finest examples of traditional Chinese architecture. We explore the intricacies of Chinese garden art with elegant bridges, ornamental ponds, and stone pathways.

Then, we visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of Shanghai’s most important religious structures, where we see precious Buddha statues made from white jade brought from Burma.

Next, we go to the Xintiandi area, where the old Shanghai fabric meets modern city life. We enjoy a brief walk in this area filled with cafes, boutiques, and restaurants to experience the city’s energy.

Finally, we have free time for shopping at the Silk Market, known for its affordable quality silk products.

Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant during the tour.
