1st DAY ISTANBUL- BELGRADE At Istanbul Airport, we meet with our esteemed guests. We depart for Belgrade on the scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival in Belgrade, we proceed with our special bus on a city tour. During our city tour, we will see the daily life of the city, important buildings, and the buildings of the Ministry of Interior, which are claimed to have been intentionally left and bombed by NATO. While continuing our tour on foot, we will visit the Flag Mosque, Belgrade Fortress, Ali Pasha Tomb, Clock Tower, Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Fountain, Military Museum, İstanbul Gate, Zindan Gate, Leopoldov Gate, Stefan Lazarevic Monument, Nebojsa Tower, Kale Square, Saborna Church, Republic Square, Balance Square and Stone Square. We will conclude our city tour with a walk along Knez Mihajlova Street, which is considered the heart of the city. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight stay at our hotel. 2nd DAY BELGRADE After having breakfast at our hotel, guests who wish can join the full-day Karlovac & Novi Sad tour, which will be organized at an additional cost. Karlovac & Novi Sad Tour- (75 Euros per person) We first visit the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, located in the northern region of Serbia's Voivodina Province. After taking a fantastic photo break with stunning views of Novi Sad from the fortress, we arrive in the center of Novi Sad. In the city where Albert Einstein also lived for a while, we will have a walking tour where we will see Freedom Square, Svetozar Miletić Statue, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox St. George Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and Synagogue. The tour will end after exploring the important Sremski Karlovci (Karlowac) town from our history. The town has significant importance as the site of the first Serbian high school and college, dating back to 1922. The other significant sights we will see in Karlovac include the town hall, Catholic Church, and the Door Lion Fountain. The town also has historical importance as it marks the beginning of the decline of the Ottoman Empire, with the Treaty of Karlovac, signed in 1699, marking the first significant land loss in Ottoman history. We will visit the Peace Chapel where the agreement was signed. After free time here, we conclude our tour. Guests interested can join an additional Serbian Night tour organized by our guide. Serbian Night (70 Euros per person) During this tour, we will taste Serbian appetizers and meals accompanied by local music in the famous bohemian street of Skadarlija in Belgrade. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel. 3rd DAY BELGRADE – SARAJEVO After breakfast at our hotel and checking out, we depart for Sarajevo. Upon arrival in Sarajevo, we proceed with our special bus for a city tour. We begin by getting off the bus in front of the central library building, one of the symbols of the city, and kick off our walking tour. After visiting the Central Library, Inat Kuca, the Latin Bridge built during the Ottoman period, and the spot where Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife were assassinated, we continue towards the heart of the city, Baščaršija. Our tour continues at Sebil Square, named after the traditional fountain in the Ottoman Empire, and in the historical streets of Baščaršija. Other places we will see include the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, and the Kuršumlija Medresa. Our tour will then continue in the most popular street of the city, Ferhadija, where we will observe the architecture from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Catholic Cathedral, Markale Market, and the indoor market, culminating at the Eternal Flame Monument dedicated to the victims of WWII. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. 4th DAY SARAJEVO After breakfast at our hotel, guests wishing can participate in the lunch-inclusive Mostar & Blagaj tour. Mostar & Blagaj Tour - Lunch Included (70 Euros per person) Our first stop will be in the town of Konjic (Konyitz). Here, we will see the famous Konjic Bridge, which has been restored by Turkey, dating back to the Ottoman period. We will take a coffee break overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Neretva River as we continue our journey. We then move toward Blagaj after a panoramic view of the Nazi Train sabotaged by Partisan soldiers during WWII in Jablanica. Once we arrive, we will visit the 550-year-old Tekke of Alperens located at the base of a spectacular rock. Established in the early 15th century, this Tekke hosted many Islamic orders (Kadiri, Rufai, Halveti, and Naqshbandi). After visiting the Tekke, we will have lunch and then continue to Mostar. We will view the historic Mehmet Bey Mosque and the UNESCO-listed Mostar Bridge, which was built to facilitate the passage of the Ottoman army during Suleiman's last campaign. Destroyed in 1993 during the war, it was later restored to its original form by a Turkish firm. We will also visit the Old Bridge and take a stroll through the bazaar before returning to our hotel in Sarajevo. Overnight stay at our hotel. 5th DAY SARAJEVO - ISTANBUL After breakfast, checking out from the rooms, and free time until the transfer time, guests who wish can join the Tunnel of War (Living) and Vrelo Bosna National Park tour at an additional cost. Tunnel of War (Living) & Vrelo Bosna National Park Tour (45 Euros per person) The life tunnel played a crucial role during the recent civil war, maintaining communication for Sarajevo under siege and ensuring the city's needs were met, ultimately contributing significantly to ending the siege. At the museum, where the exit point of the tunnel is located, we can visit the open section of the tunnel and see the equipment used during that period. We will also watch a documentary about the events of that time. After that, we proceed to Vrelo Bosna National Park, located at the foothills of Mount Igman. Vrelo Bosna, the source of the Bosna River, is a natural park featuring rivers, waterfalls, and lakes in every shade of green. We gather at the time determined by our guide and transfer to Sarajevo Airport. After check-in, we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines, concluding our tour. *GRADUATED PRICING IS APPLICABLE AND PRICES MAY CHANGE DURING THE DAY. *** Triple rooms can be provided depending on the hotel's availability, and the bed allocated for the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. Since the additional beds are made up of folding and coach bed types, tour participants accept that they must bear the discomfort of limited space and bed types in reservations for 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts apply only for one child that fits the age group staying with two adults.
