1st Day Ankara- Baku

At 12:20, we depart for the city of fire, Baku, on flight VF 577 of AJET Airlines.
At 15:35, we arrive in Baku and transfer to the hotel. Check into the rooms.
2nd Day Baku- Ateshgah- Absheron- Heydar Aliyev Center
After breakfast, we have free time. We start our day with a visit to Ateshgah (Fire Temple). This religious structure, one of the three Zoroastrian Temples that have survived to date and the most important, was first built in the 3rd century AD. It became famous worldwide with its eternal flame since ancient times, especially during the active period of the Silk Road, and was rebuilt by Zoroastrian Pilgrims who came to the region in the 17th century. After our visit here, we go to Absheron Yanardag (Burning Mountain) to watch the lively dance of the flames. Following that, we continue on our tour with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the Iraqi-born British futurist architect Zaha Hadid, which has made headlines worldwide with its massive area of 101,000 square meters. The complex, which represents the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azeri mythology, consists of theaters, conference halls, museums, and art galleries. (IMPORTANT NOTE: The cultural center may not accept visitors on some days. Due to announcements not being made in advance, our company cannot be held responsible for this situation. If it is not open, it will be viewed from the outside. If it is open, we will enter.) After the free time given, we transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
3rd Day Baku (Dinner with Azerbaijani Night)
After breakfast, we leave our hotel for the Full Day Baku City Tour. Traditional and historical Baku has recently acquired a very modern appearance with many investments made. During this comprehensive tour, you will see and learn about the most important regions of New and Old Baku, starting by going to Martyrs’ Alley and then Yayla Park. Here, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city of Baku and the Baku Bay and take lots of photos. Next, we visit Old City - also known as İçeri Şehir - which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this part of our tour, you will see and learn about Baku's historical and traditional features. Among the places we will see here and in the vicinity are the Maiden Tower built in the 12th century, Friday Mosque from the 15th century, the historically significant Siniggala Minaret and Mohammed Mosque, the world's only Miniature Book Museum, the Shirvan Shah Palace, which is considered one of the jewels of Azerbaijani historical architecture, the now İsmail Palace that serves as a Science Academy, the heart of the city Independence Street, The Fountain Square named after the historical fountain here, City Hall Park famous for its Philharmonic Fountain, and the National Carpet Museum with its valuable handicrafts. Then, we continue to Baku Boulevard, which has many futuristic architectural works including the world-renowned Flame Towers. This area is known as the seafront where the oil barons built their mansions a century ago. After the tour, we go to a local venue for a Night with Dinner and Folklore Show where we can enjoy traditional Mugham music and local flavors. After our enjoyable night, we transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
4th Day Baku- Shamakhi- Gabala- Sheki
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we set off towards Shamakhi. (approximately 125 km) This city, known due to the significant phase during the Ottoman-Safavid War called the Shamakhi Siege, is also one of the important places in the Caucasus famous for winemaking and carpet making. Here, we see the old town center, Yeddi Gumbez Tomb, located at the foot of the Gülistan Fortress which also houses the Shirvan Khan Mausoleum, and the Friday Mosque. After that, we head towards the nature-famous Gabala (approximately 95 km) with the unique views of National Park. In the free time we will have at the lakeside of Nohur Lake, Gabala, which has a paradise-like view with its mountains, forests, and waterfalls, will refresh your energy. After our pleasant break, we continue on our way to our last destination of the day, Sheki. (approximately 90 km) Once we arrive, we explore Sheki, Azerbaijan's oldest, most authentic, and most beautiful city. Known as a classic mountain town, Sheki is inhabited by a gentle-natured people with a distinctive culture and cuisine. You will see the Upper and Lower Sheki Caravanserais, now partially used as a hotel, the historic stone and wooden buildings scattered in narrow cobbled streets, the magnificent Palace of Khans, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the Persian period, Sheki Fortress consisting of Shabeke Crafts Workshop, Ethnography Museum, Art Gallery, Art House, the religious buildings known as Khans and Friday Mosques are just some of the places you will see during your tour. During the free time in the marketplace, you can taste Sheki Halva with a famous Azeri Tea, or purchase many handicraft art pieces, particularly the world's most beautiful silk products. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel and check into the rooms. Accommodation at the hotel.
5th Day Sheki- Bodbe Monastery- Signaghi- Tbilisi
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we head towards the Azerbaijan/Georgia Border. (approximately 90 km). Due to regulations, vehicle changes will occur at the border. Following the necessary procedures, we continue to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most essential religious monuments in Georgia known for its architecture and surrounding nature. (approximately 60 km). After our visit here, we head to Sighnaghi, the ‘City of Love’. (approximately 15 km). This lovely place, with its natural beauty and restored charming stone buildings, is a real tourist attraction. In our tour here, we will see the Sighnaghi Fortress with its walls over 4 km long known as the ‘Georgian Wall’ that provides breathtaking views of nature, the St. George Church which will impress you with its architecture and natural beauty, the well-preserved historic center of the town lined with charming buildings, and the Doctor on Donkey Statue, a symbol of the town dedicated to a village doctor who used to travel by donkey to help many people. During our city tour, we will use special electric vehicles for our sightseeing. We will make photo stops at the Kakheti panorama point, Signagi panorama point, and St. George tower, with a chance to walk on the city walls offering unique views. During our free time, guests can freely explore, shop, and have their lunch in this delightful town. Afterward, we proceed to Tbilisi. (approximately 10 km). Upon arrival, we check into the rooms at our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
6th Day Tbilisi (Dinner with Caucasian Night)
After breakfast, we commence our Full Day Tbilisi Tour. This beautiful city surprises visitors with what it offers; we start by visiting Narikala Fortress, Peace Bridge, Rike Park, Meidan, Ethnography Museum, Agmashenebeli Boulevard, Municipality Palace, Rustaveli National Theatre, Viceroy Palace, National Bank of Georgia, Mtatsminda Hill, The Mother Georgia Monument, the main square of the city, Liberty Square, the Parliament Building, and the Archaeological Museum that houses many significant national treasures, as well as the Fine Arts Museum, holding over 3500 artworks, and the replica of the 11th-century Samtavisi Cathedral known as Kashueti St George Church, and the National Museum of Georgia which possesses essential collections. We will also see the Opera and Ballet Theatre, MoMa Museum which is known for its famous sculptures and temporary exhibitions, the Historical Books Museum which is known for its ancient books and manuscripts, and the Fine Arts Academy famous for its Mirror Hall. And not to forget, we will visit the Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, the largest religious monument in contemporary Georgia visible from almost anywhere in Tbilisi. Next, during our walking tour, we will visit Flower Market and Covered Market, along with Orbeliani Park, which has notably become a tourist attraction among the country’s cultural heritage. Additionally, we will see Rustaveli Avenue, Kura River and Rike Park, Avlabari District, and Georgian Patriarchate, followed by Sioni Cathedral. We will also visit the Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Puppet Theatre and the Angels Clock Tower, taking the lovely Shardeni Street as well. During our free time in this area, you will have the opportunity to taste local dishes at authentic cafes. Next, we head to the Fortress Area where the symbol of the city, Narikala, is situated. We will take a quick trip up the hill by cable car to see the Mother Georgia Monument, built to celebrate Georgia's 1500th anniversary in 1958. Here you can take panoramic photographs of the city. We will return to the city by cable car and go to the historic Abanotubani, known for its sulfur baths, which have been present since 4th century BC. We will visit the Friday Mosque, known as ‘Double Mihrab’ built during the Ottoman Empire in 1724, and the Chreli Abano Sulfur Baths. We will descend the historic Winding Stairs and cross the Love Wooden Bridge to provide free time in the underground market, where you can shop for local products and souvenirs. Finally, we will end the day at a venue where you can also watch breathtaking Caucasian Folklore performances while enjoying a menu full of Georgian flavors. After this wonderful day, we transfer back to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
7th Day Tbilisi- Chronology Monument- Gori- Uplistsikhe- Jvari- Mtskheta- Tbilisi
After breakfast, we have a short journey to the Georgia Chronicle Monument. (approximately 15 km) Located on a hillside, this monument, which began construction in 1985, is never completed due to the constant addition of significant contemporary events, making it an exceptionally rare piece worldwide.
Next, we continue on to Gori. (approximately 85 km) Upon arrival, we visit the Stalin Museum exhibiting numerous items and photographs from the era of the Georgian-born leader who transformed the Soviet Union into an industrial and military giant. After our visit here, you will have free time to explore this charming city as you wish. Then, we will head to Uplistsikhe, known for its cave dwellings reminiscent of Cappadocia. (approximately 15 km). Our next destination is Jvari (approximately 65 km), built in the 6th century overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura Rivers, and recognized on the UNESCO World Heritage List, it’s one of Georgia's most significant historical and religious treasures. Known for its architectural beauty and breathtaking views, the monastery has been at the center of many important events throughout history. Afterward, we proceed to Mtskheta, historically the capital of Georgia, also known as ‘UNESCO City’ (approximately 20 km). In this ancient settlement that is one of the oldest in the world, we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which is one of the most sacred religious monuments in Georgia. During our free time, you can complete your shopping of world-renowned Georgian wines and other souvenirs and freely discover this fairy tale city. At the end of our tour, we will return to the hotel for accommodation.
8th Day Tbilisi- Ankara
Transfer to the airport at the time determined by our guide.
At 05:05, we depart for Istanbul on flight VF 616 of AJET Airlines.
