DAY 1: ISTANBUL AIRPORT – CATANIA – ETNA Meet our valued guests at 04:15 at the 3rd entrance of Istanbul Airport, in front of Turkish Airlines’ international departures F counters (counters 1–27), and complete check-in procedures. We depart for Catania at 08:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1393. Arrival in Catania at 08:35 local time. After meeting our vehicle, we begin our panoramic tour. Then we start our Etna tour. As we make our way toward Etna, we have the chance to take magnificent photos of Mount Etna, which welcomes us with its vegetation and scenery. On our route, we will see Silvestri, the second crater at an altitude of 1,800 meters on Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. Don’t forget to take home some of the smoke-rising rock pieces as souvenirs! Our tour will end amidst many scenic spots for photos in the area formed by the lava of Mount Etna. Afterwards, we return to our hotel. DAY 2: SAVOCA – TAORMINA – GIARDINI NAXOS – CATANIA After breakfast, we begin our full-day excursion at the time previously set by our guide. On our Savoca, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos tour, we will see the places where the world-famous film The Godfather was shot. We will also see Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church. After passing through streets that look like a movie set, we head to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea and one of Sicily’s most beautiful coastal towns. We visit this charming town, located on the slopes of Mount Tauro, with its streets, souvenir shops, and avenues, and enjoy its breathtaking views. Then we move on to Giardini Naxos, famous for its captivating volcanic beach and colorful streets. In this cultural mosaic, where Greeks settled in the 6th century BC and later Phoenicians and Romans lived, you can take wonderful photos. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. DAY 3: SYRACUSE – CATANIA After breakfast, we leave the hotel for our full-day Syracuse tour. In Syracuse, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we see the Fountain of Arethusa, the Cathedral, the Fountain of Diana, and the Temple of Apollo. Afterwards, we return to Catania. During our panoramic city tour of Catania, the places we will see include Duomo Cathedral, the Fountain of the Elephant, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. After free time, transfer to our hotel. DAY 4: CATANIA – MALTA / GOZO ISLAND – DWEJRA – T’PINO CHURCH – VICTORIA RABAT – XELENDI – MGARR After breakfast, we hand in our room keys at the reception, check out, and depart for Catania Airport. We fly to Malta on Air Malta flight KM641 at 07:35 and arrive at 08:15. After our hotel check-in, we begin our Gozo tour accompanied by your guide. We cross to Gozo Island by ferry from Cirkewwa Port. In the peaceful Gozo, with its green nature, we visit Dwejra, which has hosted films such as Troy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, and then T’Pino Church, a pilgrimage site. We will have the opportunity to taste local products such as honey, carob, liqueur, and cheese. Later, we have free time in the fishing village of Xlendi. In Victoria Rabat, we see St. George’s Basilica and stroll through the streets. At the end of the tour, we return to Malta from Mgarr Port and transfer to our hotel. DAY 5: MOSTA – MDINA – VALLETTA (GAME OF THRONES) – MARSAXLOKK After breakfast, check out of the hotel and board the bus with our luggage. Our full-day tour begins. We visit the Santa Maria Assunta Church in Mosta, which has the third-largest dome in Europe. Then we head to Mdina, where some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed. After seeing historical structures such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Carmelite Church, we stop at Fontanella Cafe. Later, we explore the capital, Valletta. Our final stop is the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. We enjoy pleasant time among its colorful boats and lively market. Afterwards, we transfer to the airport and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1372 at 19:15. Arrival at 22:45, and the end of our tour.

Need to Know
  • Prices are calculated per person in a double room.
  • For reservations made, any cancellation requests will incur a penalty fee for Air Malta flights regardless of any cancellation period. This fee ranges between 75–125 EUR.
  • In case of operational disruptions on flights between Catania and Malta, alternative transfer will be provided by ferry.
  • Hotel standards in Italy may be lower than those in Turkey.
  • Check-in times for hotels are between 15:00–17:00, and check-out times are between 10:00–12:00.
