Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Tirana  – Elbasan – Ohrid

Meet at the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures Terminal at the counter. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Tirana at 07:10 with Ajet Airlines flight VF367. Arrive in Tirana at 07:55 local time. After passport, luggage, and customs formalities, we head to the capital city Tirana with our private buses. We will conduct a panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which has experienced wars throughout the 20th century and endured 40 years under Enver Hoxha's dictatorship. This city was developed by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and became the capital of Albania in 1920. During the tour, we will see Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Historic Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. The Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Pyramid of Tirana will also be some of the places we will observe from our vehicle. After the Tirana tour, we will have some free time. Then we reach Ohrid, a Mediterranean town in the Balkans, via Elbasan, where our tour of Ohrid begins at the Harbor Square. While discussing the statues we see in the square, we will take a walk in the neighborhood with historic Ohrid houses, and visit the Ayasofya church, concluding our tour with a presentation of the famous Ohrid Pearl, the biggest symbol of the city. After the tour, we move to free time. After free time, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Ohrid – Sveti Naum – Resne – Bitola (Monastery) – Skopje
After breakfast we first go to St. Naum with breathtaking views on an approximately 1-hour journey. We see the source of the Kara Drin, where Ohrid Lake originates. The view here is truly breathtaking. Then we move to Resne. We will see the Palace of Resneli Niyazi, one of the most famous members of the Committee of Union and Progress, who gained fame for his contributions during the Turkish-Greek War, and then arrive in Bitola. During our city tour of Monastery (Bitola), we will visit Magnolya Square, the Clock Tower, the New Mosque, the Bazaar, and the most emotional moments will be at the Military High School where Atatürk graduated and the Atatürk Museum. After our visit, we continue our journey, arriving in the capital Skopje to begin our city tour. We start our tour by the Vardar River, where two different cultures are divided, and among the statues we will see is the giant statue of Alexander the Great. After crossing the Historic Skopje Stone Bridge built on the Vardar River, we witness how abruptly cultures change as we enter Skopje's Turkish Bazaar, one of the most qualified bazaars of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. Starting from the entry of the bazaar, we will discuss the statues and begin our tour at the historic Davut Pasha Bath, learn about Kapan Han, one of the most important structures of the Ottoman bazaar organization, and see the Murat Pasha Mosque which survived despite the earthquakes. After our visits, we will have an hour of free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. You can buy Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and charik among other items. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Skopje – Matka Canyon – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)

After breakfast at our hotel we depart for the stunning Matka Canyon. During our delightful walk, we will take wonderful photos, followed by a brief free time, then we will regroup in our vehicle to visit the 19th-century Ottoman Mansion near the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, and the Tomb of I. Murad (Hüdavendigar), shrouded in pride for the biggest victory of the Ottomans in the Balkans, the Battle of Kosovo. After our visit, we will start our approximately 100 km journey to Prizren, considered one of the most charming cities in the Balkans, located along the Bistrica (Akdere) River. During our panoramic tour of Prizren, we will see the Turkish Bath from the 17th century, the Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Fortress as noteworthy sights. After the tour and free time, we will return to Skopje. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Skopje – Belgrade
After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. After our journey, we will start our city tour of Belgrade, the new symbol of vibrancy and movement in Europe and one of the oldest cities in Europe, beginning with Knez Mihailova Street, the most elegant street of the city. Then we will move on to Belgrade Fortress, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded, but its conquest was destined for Suleiman the Magnificent. Inside the fortress, we will see the Key Delivery Monument, the French statue, the Istanbul Gate, the Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha’s tomb, the Sokullu Fountain, and the terrace area where we will enjoy the most beautiful view of the junction of the Danube and Sava rivers. After our tour, we will have free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Sarajevo. While traveling through the mountainous Balkan roads, we will enjoy stunning views before arriving and starting our panoramic city tour. We will stroll through Baščaršija, Europe’s finest bazaar. During our tour, known as the cultural scene of the city, we start our tour with the Sebil Fountain, which has become a symbol of the city and continue to visit the authentic places such as Morica Han, Hüsrev Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, the famous fountain, and the meeting point of cultures, which is also where the Eternal Flame monument is located. We will then have some free time where guests can photograph the Latin Bridge, where World War I ignited. After the tour and free time, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar – Blagaj – Trebinje
After breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for Mostar, enjoying the beautiful views in the ecosystem of the Neretva River. On the way, we will make a short stop in the small charming town of Konjic, which is mentioned in Evliya Çelebi’s Travelogue as the place where the horses rested/drank water. We will see the Konjic Bridge built by IV. Mehmet and take some photos before continuing our journey through Jablanica. We will have the chance to see the stunning natural views created by the Neretva River on this route. Upon arriving in Mostar, we will embark on a walking city tour, beginning with the Mostar Bridge (constructed in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, this bridge is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture). The bridge was destroyed during the war in 1992 but was reopened in 2004 thanks to the significant contributions of the Republic of Turkey. We will explore the old town bazaar. After free time, we will proceed to Alperenler's land, Blagaj. After a short journey, we will disembark at the parking area in Blagaj and after a walk, we will provide free time in the area where the Buna River originates and where the Alperenler Tekke is located. During this period, guests can either visit the Tekke or take the best photograph of it from the outside. After our visits, we will transfer to our hotel. Depending on the flow, we will stay in Trebinje or the surrounding region, including Medjugorje or Blagaj. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Trebinje – Kotor – Budva – Shkodra - Tirana
After breakfast at our hotel, we cross into one of the youngest countries in the world, Montenegro. Our first stop will be Kotor, an important historical and natural haven and a tourist attraction. We will explore this charming city during our walking tour in Stari Grad (Old Town-Castle). We will see notable historical buildings such as Arsenal Square, the Clock Tower, the Shame Monument, the Government Palace, the Guardian Tower, the Church of St. Tryphon and Square, Kalambaka (Tulumba) Square, St. Luke’s and St. Nicholas Churches. After the tour, we will have free time. After free time, we will pass through Budva, a former fishing settlement that has been transformed into a tourist destination through restoration work, and we will take a panoramic view of the picturesque St. Stephan from above. After that, we will move to the city of Shkodra in Albania. After arriving in Shkodra, we will proceed to Tirana to transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, we will transfer to Tirana Airport. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Ajet Airlines flight VF368 at 08:55 and will arrive in Istanbul at 11:35. We hope to see you on your next journey!

- During the tour, it is sufficient to have Euros for shopping and expenses in all countries in the program. The guide will assist with currency exchange in areas where the local currency is used.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred during the trip. It is advisable to carry a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- In our tours, a rotation (seat change) is applied daily in seat planning, and a fixed seat or front seat guarantee is not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a requirement for a minimum of 3 days accommodation to bring items (alcohol - cigarettes, etc.).
- The duty-free shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad is: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drink (except for alcoholic beverages with more than 22% alcohol, wine and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drink (including alcoholic beverages with less than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skincare Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
- The guides on the tour program may make changes in the itinerary based on weather and road conditions, provided that they show every place specified in the program.
- Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge until 30 days before the tour. In case of less than 30 days remaining until the tour date, a 30% penalty will apply, and in case of 20 days or less, a 100% penalty will apply. Documents such as hospital reports, work permit documents, etc., provided with the cancellation request by the participant, will not be accepted for cancellations of services booked from Turkey and accommodations outside of Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. In case sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the last cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel.
- In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or where options are available for the same destination, the hotels will be notified by Viyatravel 2 days before the trip.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified distances.
- Triple rooms may be provided based on hotel availability, and in this type of room, the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are made up of folding and coach beds, the tour participants accept that they may experience crowding and bed type issues in rooms with reservations for the 3rd person and/or children. Child discounts are valid only for one child who meets the age group staying with two adults.
- Breakfasts included in the tour services are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and generally consist of a limited menu called continental breakfast, which includes butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall designated for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general promotion of the cities and do not include entrance fees for museums and historical sites. They last a maximum of 2-3 hours and are conducted with a guided commentary from inside the vehicle. Viyatravel shall not be held responsible for the inability to conduct panoramic tours in cases where local authorities do not allow visits or access due to any event or due to road closures or adverse weather conditions that make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted on foot or via public transport where access allows.
- Waiting times at customs gates crossed by land during travel may exceed standards; Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any negative outcomes arising from these waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by local Viyatravel with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, the excursions may not take place, or the prices, content, and the vehicle to be used for the extra tours may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of the tours may also be changed by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and historical sites in the locations visited and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the trip accept to wait at a suitable rest facility along the way. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the start of the extra tour and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
- For those participating in air tours, check-in and boarding procedures must be completed personally by the guest before the flight, either at the airline counters at the airports or online via the airlines' websites.
- Viyatravel is not responsible for those who are not present at the designated airport at the times communicated by Viyatravel, do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or complete them on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to purchasing new round-trip tickets, if necessary, and transfers in the destination area for those who miss the flight are the responsibility of the passengers.
- Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays in scheduled and charter flights, or the hours may change before the existing trip and flight. Viyatravel is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of schedule changes upon purchasing the trip. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and airport service fees.
