Tour Program
1st Day İstanbul – Niš – Skopje
Meeting in front of Air Serbia Counter at Istanbul Airport Departure Terminal at 14:00. After ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, fly with Air Serbia flight JU1805 at 17:00 to Niš. Arrive at 17:25 local time. After luggage, passport, and customs procedures, start the tour in Niš. Our city tour of Niš, the city founded by Emperor Constantine, one of the oldest cities in history and the third largest city in Serbia, will be followed by a move to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. After arriving in Skopje and a short panoramic tour, we proceed to the city of Pristina, Kosovo’s capital, and after the visit, we move towards Prizren. Our panoramic tour of Prizren, one of the most charming cities of the Balkans, includes the 17th-century Turkish Bath, Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Castle. At the end of the tour, free time for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar, where you can buy local products like Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and traditional slippers. After visiting, we will transfer to our hotel for overnight stay – SKOPJE (Hotel options may vary)

2nd Day Skopje – Kosovo (Prizren) – Skopje (Balkan Night)
Breakfast in the morning.After that, we head to Kosovo, one of the youngest states with a large Muslim Albanian population. We will visit the Ottoman Mansion from the 19th century near Pristina, Kosovo, and the tomb of Murad I (Hüdevandigar), a major Ottoman victory in the Balkans, at the Kosovo Field. Moving to Prizren, one of the most beautiful cities in the Balkans, where we see the 17th-century Turkish Bath, Sinan Pasha Mosque built in 1615, and Prizren Castle. The tour will include a short panoramic tour of Prizren, followed by free time for sightseeing and shopping in the bazaar, where local products like Shushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, traditional slippers, and souvenirs can be purchased. Then we return to Skopje.
Upon arrival in Skopje, we will begin our city tour, which highlights the coexistence of two cultures separated by the Vardar River. Our first stop will be the giant statue of Alexander the Great, which catches attention with its size. Then, crossing the historic Stone Bridge over the Vardar River, we see how cultures differ rapidly, and we will visit the Turkish Bazaar, an important Ottoman marketplace. We tour the Davut Pasha Bath, Kapan Han, and Murad Pasha Mosque, and conclude with enjoying the view of the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers from the city terrace. A one-hour free shopping time in the Turkish Bazaar follows, where you can buy local products such as Šushka pepper, Ustrumca peanuts, and slippers. Afterwards, we will participate in a Balkan Night at a local restaurant, included in the tour fee. After the entertainment, transfer to our hotel for overnight stay.

3rd Day Skopje – Matka Canyon – Tetovo (Kalkandelen) – Ohrid
Breakfast in the hotel, then we head to the renowned Matka Canyon, where you can enjoy a nature walk and take a boat tour if desired. Afterward, we pass through Mavrovo and explore the picturesque town of Tetovo, known for its unique architecture and the Alaca Mosque built in 1614. We then proceed to Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in the Balkans, and the city named after the Ohrid Lake. Upon arrival, we start a city tour of Ohrid, visiting the port square, the mosaic of the church, and the historic Ottoman houses featured in the Elveda Rumeli series. We see the Ayasofya Church and the famous Ohrid Pearls, ending the tour. Free time for shopping and exploring the city. Then we check into our hotel for overnight stay in Ohrid.

4th Day Ohrid - St. Naum - Elbasan - Tirana - Shkodra
After breakfast, we move from Ohrid. We visit the magnificent St. Naum Monastery with its breathtaking scenery, where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the Ohrid Lake source, famous for its beautiful views. Then, passing through Elbasan, we continue to Tirana, the capital of Albania. During the panoramic city tour, we will see Ethem Bey Mosque, the Historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, Opera and Ballet House, Parliament, Prime Minister's Office, Presidential Palace, the Mother Teresa Statue, and Skanderbeg Square. After the city tour, free time and then we proceed to Shkodra and check into our hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we cross into Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world. Our first stop, offering a panoramic view of the legendary St. Stephen island, previously a fishing village and now a luxurious vacation spot for the rich, depending on availability. Continuing along the scenic Adriatic coast, we see Budva and then proceed to Kotor, known for its stunning bay and historic old town. Here, we walk through the old town and see the Kotor Fortress. After the tour, we move to our hotel in Trebinje or nearby. Overnight stay at the hotel.

6th Day Medjugorje – Mostar – Blagaj - Konjic – Sarajevo
After breakfast at the hotel, we go to the historic Mostar. Upon arrival, we walk through the city, starting with the famous Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by the architect Hayreddin, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. The bridge was destroyed during the 1992 war but was rebuilt with significant support from Turkey in 2004. We will explore the Old Bazaar district. Afterwards, we drive to Blagaj, known as the land of the Alperenlar, and visit the famous Blagaj Tekke, a historic monastery and tekke (Sufi lodge). After the visit, we move to Sarajevo and check into the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we depart for Belgrade. Our city tour will start with the most lively and vibrant street, Knez Mihailova. Then, we visit Belgrade Fortress, which was crucial for Ottoman and Serbian history, offering a panoramic view of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. The fortress includes the Key of Belgrade monument, French soldiers' monument, Istanbul Gate, Military Museum, Damat Ali Pasha Mosque, and Sava and Danube rivers’ mingling point. After the tour, free time for shopping and exploring. Transfer to our hotel in Belgrade for overnight stay.

Need to Know
- During the tour, it is sufficient to have Euros to shop and spend in all countries included in the program. In regions where the local currency is used, the Guide will assist with currency conversion. - Throughout the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings. - Our tours implement a seat rotation (changing seats) daily; therefore, fixed seats and front seats are not guaranteed. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide. - When entering Turkey from abroad, it is mandatory to stay at least 3 days to bring in goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.). - The shopping limit at the duty-Free Shop when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter (excluding spirits with more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters (spirits with 22% or less alcohol, including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Candy: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg. - Tour guides may make changes to the program due to weather and road conditions, with the condition of showing all indicated places in the program. - Guests who have registered for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before. If canceled within 30 days of the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; within 20 days or less, 100% penalty is applied. Cancellations with accompanying medical reports, workplace leave documents, or similar documents from Turkish authorities or hotels booked outside Turkey are unfortunately not accepted. - Our tour program operates with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participants are not achieved, the final cancellation notice is given 20 days before the start of the tour. Cancellations due to inadequate participation will be notified by Viyatravel. - In cases where only category information is provided without specific hotel names or options are available for the same destination, hotels will be announced by Viyatravel at least 2 days prior to the departure. - During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified. In such cases, information will be provided by Viyatravel at least 15 days before the departure date. - Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability; in these rooms, the third bed is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 additional foldable or "coach" type bed. Since these beds are foldable or "coach" beds, participants acknowledge and accept possible tightness and bed types in the room for third persons or children. Child discounts are valid only for a single child sharing room with two adults, matching the age group. - Breakfasts included in the hotel services are generally continental, consisting of butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, served in a dedicated hall for groups. - Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are brief 2-3 hour tours that introduce the cities, generally excluding museum and historical site entries, conducted from within the vehicle with a guide's narration. These tours may not be possible if certain sites are closed or inaccessible due to local authorities' restrictions, weather conditions, or other reasons. Some panoramic tours may be conducted on foot or by public transportation where vehicle access is restricted. - Waiting times at customs crossings during travel by road may exceed standard durations; Viyatravel is not responsible for any inconveniences caused by delays at these points. - Extra tours or services are organized by local Viyatravel with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not met, tours are not conducted, and prices, content, and vehicles may vary according to the number of participants. The days and times of these tours may be modified based on the operational status of museums, historical sites, and weather conditions. - Participation in extra tours is optional; passengers wishing not to participate accept to wait at a designated rest stop. These passengers will be dropped off there before the tour resumes and picked up afterward. - For flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal; guests must complete these procedures at airports before the flight or online via airline websites prior to departure. - The airline is an intermediary between the passenger and the airline company; it is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol. Rerouting or schedule changes may occur. Viyatravel will inform customers as soon as possible. Passengers accept the risk of schedule changes by purchasing the tour. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax or service fees. - The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified based on the number of people: Buses (for 25-46 persons): Mercedes Travego/Tourismo, NEOPLAN Cityliner/Tourliner, Temsa Safir/Maraton, Man Fortuna; Minibuses (for 17-24 persons): Isuzu Turkuaz, Otokar Mega; Minivans (for up to 16 persons): VW Volt, Mercedes Sprinter. - All our flights allow a maximum of 23 kg baggage weight per piece. Hand luggage must fit overhead compartments or under the seat and meet size and weight standards of 40x20x55 cm and up to 8 kg. All guests acknowledge and accept these conditions to complete the sale.
