1. DAY ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – ROME
We meet you, our valued guests, 3 hours before the flight time at the Pegasus Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Bologna on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we depart for Rome. Following arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our city tour, the following places will be seen: Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the crowd; the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator battles; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Steps with the “sinking ship” fountain. 2. DAY ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests may participate in the Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour organized by our guides. After visiting the region of natural beauty where the popes spend their summer periods and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries, we will have free time for shopping at Italy’s famous Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the square. Guests may participate in the Roma by Night Tour organized by our guides. Accommodation at the hotel.
3. DAY ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests may participate in the Naples & Pompeii Tour organized by our guides as an en route excursion. Our first stop is Pompeii, which was buried under 7 meters of ash and soil until the 18th century following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After excavations, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people that emerged. After visiting the open-air museum of Pompeii, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Naples. During our city tour, the following places will be seen: Piazza Plebiscito, the central square of Naples; the Royal Palace built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; the Galleria Umberto I with its shops; the San Carlo Theater, built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and the Port of Naples. 4. DAY ROME – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. There is an opportunity to join the Orvieto Tour (35 EUR per person), which our guides will organize en route. After seeing the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, a city that has an important place in Italy’s art and general history and possesses extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our tour, the following places will be seen: the Arno River, which divides Florence into two; Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewelers; Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the statues of Hercules and David; Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, which has the third-largest dome in Italy; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Accommodation at the hotel.
5. DAY FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests may participate in the Pisa & Portofino Tour organized by our guides. In our tour, after seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli, we will travel by boat to the world-famous Portofino, which has been featured in songs. You will love this small town located within a national park. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
6. DAY FLORENCE – VENICE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Bologna tour organized by our guides en route. During our Bologna city tour, Piazza Maggiore, considered the center of Bologna; Neptune Fountain located just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange building; the first university building in Europe; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna, will be seen. After the tour, we continue to Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square and take a panoramic city tour of Venice. During our city tour, the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore will be seen. 7. DAY VENICE – MILAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests may also join the Verona & Lake Garda Tour organized by our guides en route. During our tour, Romeo and Juliet’s House, which is associated with one of the greatest love stories in history; the Verona Arena; the uniquely designed Scaligero Bridge; and Verona Cathedral will be seen. After the Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. After the tour, we continue to Milan. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Milan. During our tour, the following places will be seen: Milan Duomo, the second-largest church in Italy, whose construction took approximately 500 years; Sforza Castle; and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores. 8. DAY MILAN – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bologna Airport depending on the flight time. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines flight. Upon arrival, the end of our tour and services.
