You can follow the daily program of planned activities from the ship newspaper distributed to your cabin the evening before each day. This newspaper can be considered a bulletin that gives you all the information you need about the day’s activities on board, weather, port calls, and reservation contact details for specialty restaurants or the spa. The most common language on board is English. If you are on a program with Turkish-speaking guidance, our guide will assist you on all matters from ship bulletins to restaurant menus and will prepare special bulletins for our valued guests. Upon boarding the ship, you must hand over your luggage, passport, and credit card details at the check-in desk at the entrance of the ship (a deposit will be taken for possible expenses). After you hand over your passport at the beginning of the trip, it will only be returned to you at the end of the tour. After handing your passport to the ship, you will be given a Boarding Card. This card is used as your passport, your cabin key, and for all transactions you make on board. The Boarding Card contains various details such as your name and surname, cabin number, and dinner seating. There is a dress code for passengers on board. Since there are special events on the ship such as the captain’s welcome dinner and gala night, we kindly ask you to bring stylish and classic clothes. You can follow these events such as gala night and welcome dinner, as well as other special events, through the ship newspaper mentioned earlier. The bulletin also specifies the dress code. Cruise ships have buffet restaurants where you can eat almost at any time of the day. In addition to breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the main restaurant included in your fare, there are fast food points and buffets. There are also specialty restaurants on board, such as a Thai restaurant and a steakhouse. You can make reservations for these in advance and taste special dishes prepared by special chefs. Specialty restaurants are subject to an extra charge. Cruise ships provide many facilities and activities for families with children. There are children’s pools and kids’ clubs where children can spend their time. Cruise ships are designed by engineers not to sway during travel, and the captains are specially trained. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the ship, including your cabin. You may smoke on the open deck where there are no signs prohibiting smoking and where ashtrays are provided. There are doctors and nurses on board. There are also accessible cabins on the ships.
