2. DAY BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests may join the Girona & Figueras & Mercat de la Boqueria Tour organized by our guide. We begin our tour in Girona, located on the banks of the Onyar River and at first glance reminiscent of Florence, the richest city in the region. Girona, a charming medieval town worth seeing with its narrow streets and cathedral, is also the city where the film Perfume was shot. On our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, Mezuzah Houses, the Jewish Quarter, Rambla, and famous shops. After free time, we set off toward Figueras, accompanied by the views of the Pyrenees Mountains. This town has such an impressive atmosphere that it was a lifelong source of inspiration for Salvador Dali, the boundary-defying painter admired by the whole world. Here we will visit the museum house of the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali, which he decorated with his own hands. After visiting this museum, where the value of each work is expressed in millions of dollars, and where his immortal love Gala is portrayed and his mind-bending works are displayed, we will have free time. Then we move toward La Rambla Street in the city center. Our next stop is Mercat de la Boqueria, the market located on Barcelona’s most touristy street, La Rambla. Considered Spain’s most famous shopping spot, and with “mercat” meaning “market” in Spanish, this is one of the most authentic places where you can experience the shopping culture of the country and observe the habits of the local people. We provide free time here. In the evening, guests who wish to spend time in a fun atmosphere may join the Flamenco Night. Accommodation at our hotel.

Buildings bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arabic, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, paintings by El Greco, typical pastry shops, Damascene stores, and of course its famous cathedral make it a very attractive tourist destination.
